Just a day biking around Kaiserslautern Germany! I love it!

Got to see the 2024 eclipse and it was great! It was my second one so I guess I'm officially an "eclipse chaser"! You can really see Jupiter to the top and Venus to the left of the eclipse!

I went to Garden of the Gods in Shawnee National Forest while I was home visiting. It's a gorgeous area and the start of one of the wilderness areas for the national forest. There are a few trails in the area. The main allure is the camel rock area. You can climb all over the tops of the rocks. Be careful because people do fall off each year. It was amazing!

I went to Rim Rock National Recreation Trail in Shawnee National Forest Illinois. The hiking is wonderful out there and Shawnee is a great national forest that not many people know about! It's also near Evansville Indiana. This is a great day trip for anyone in the region with lots of hiking and exploring!

We went for a Garmisch walk while we were staying at Edelweiss Lodge. It was a blast!

I randomly picked a spot in the Vosges Mountains in France to have a quiet weekend. I decided to look around the map and discovered the source of the Moselle River! I live near this river in Germany and have visited the German Moselle River many times. It's an understated monument to one of Europe's most famous rivers. Here's what it looks like! Happy Trekking! I got a timelapse of the French Stars in the Vosges Mountains in eastern France. It was just a getaway weekend so there wasn't much exploring but it was nice to eat, drink, and be merry! Happy Trekking!

I finally made it to Grüner Pütz Spring. The highest part and start of the Eifel Aqueduct in Germany. The Romans collected water from the side of the hill in small stone ditches that collected here and then went off into the aqueduct on their way to Cologne! You can hike the majority of the length of the aqueduct to the edge of Cologne and walk with the Romans!
