Perfect night lapse footage of Milky Way galactic core
The rise of the Milky Way over the Santa Rita Mountains. Taken from east of Green Valley, Arizona.
Using a GoPro Hero 9 in Night Lapse Video mode. Settings: 4K, Lens Linear, Auto Interval, 15 second Shutter, Bit Rate High, White Balance 3200k, ISO Min and Max 3200, Sharpness High, GoPro Color.
Scheduled capture started at 1:45am. Not being much of a middle of the night person, this capture would not have been possible without the schedule feature of the Hero 9.
Two apps were of great help in lining up the shot. The Photographer's Ephemeris and Photo Pills.

Thunderstorm and Shelf Cloud Time-Lapse - St Charles, Illinois on June 26, 2020
Several lines of heavy thunderstorms rolled through the Fox Valley late afternoon and evening.
The first half of the video is mildly interesting with at least one cloud to cloud lightning stroke visible. The second half is much more interesting.

Rainbow and Storm Cloud Time-Lapse on June 29, 2020
I noticed the cloud edge and sunshine to the west as the afternoon's heavy rain showers moved away. Anticipating a rainbow, I grabbed my gear and hoping for an unobstructed view, made the short drive to the local park on the east side of Saint Charles. Nothing was showing but a incipient ground glow to the south indicating a possible rainbow forming. I set up a couple of cameras to record a time-lapse then watched as the double rainbow formed in front of me.
