In this video, I present an activity I regularly use when delivering training in the CARE Curriculum to highlight the importance of relational connection in regulating behaviour. I make the point that when caring for children and young people who are recovering from a tough start to life and exhibiting behaviour of concern, an important source of influence over their behaviour is the connection you are able to make and maintain with them. The video is intended to be of most interest to carers of children and young people who are recovering from a tough start to life, and professionals who support them (both).
