Saints shatter records in romp of Rider; secure massive win in MAAC opener.
Nothing was stopping the Siena women’s lacrosse team on a record-breaking day at Hickey Field Saturday afternoon.
Not the rain; not the sleet; not the snow. And certainly not MAAC newcomer Rider, as the Saints put together a masterful performance in a 22-4 trouncing to set a program record for the largest margin of victory in the 28-year history of the team.
The previous largest margin of victory had been 17 goals on two occasions. Sarah Irish’s goal with three seconds remaining pushed the lead to 18 to ensure that a new record would be set.

Denmark guard Freya Jensen commits to Iowa State women's basketball team: https://techlaal.com/freya-jensen-guard-from-denmark-womens-basketball/
Hours before taking the floor against Stanford in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, the Iowa State women’s basketball team picked up a recruiting win.
Freya Jensen, a 5-foot-11 guard from Denmark, announced on social media Sunday her plans to play for the Cyclones. Jensen is a member of the class of 2025. She made an official visit to Iowa State in February.
She needed to make five flights just to get to Ames for her visit. During the trip, she raved about the Iowa State fan base she’d heard so much about.
Jensen now gets to be a part of it. She will give the Cyclones a strong shooter, especially from beyond the arc. Jensen played in the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship in 2023, averaging 16.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
