A refreshing walk deep into the quiet white snowy forest. After 3 days of record breaking amount of snow, the day clears in Alaska and I took an early morning walk in -10C to hear the silent sound of the forest and recharge my body and soul.

Wolverine Peak, in south Anchorage, Alaska, can be accessed via the Prospects Height Trailhead. Set in stunning surroundings of the majestic mountain range overlooking Anchorage, it’s hard not to keep staring at the breathtaking mountain peaks as you drive in Anchorage! Once at the top of Wolverine peak- you can see the Willawaw Lake, O’Malley Mountain, Little O’Malley and many other ranges you can choose to hike on another adventure! Great news for hikers who enjoy this scenic area, other mountain peaks are on both sides of this valley with many hiking trails. Pepper Peak, north of Anchorage, Alaska, towers over the picturesque Eklutna Lake and now covered in snow!
