The name of Jesus - Part 1
Jesus or ‘Yeshua’ in Hebrew: means ‘salvation’.
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus because he will save his people from their sins. (Matt 1:21, NIV)
Jesus also had the prophetic name Immanuel.
Matt 1:22-23 (NIV) All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.

God speaks to us through his Son.
On rare occasions God speaks with an audible voice.
God speaks to us through his Word.
God speaks to us in a still small inner voice in our heart and mind.
God speaks to us through people.

Covenants Part 11c - The New Covenant
While the New Covenant has greater benefits, it also has greater penalties for those who reject it.
Heb 12:25 (NIV) See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?

pursue peace and mutual edification (Rom 14:19)

The Kingdom of God & The message of Jesus
If you were to ask people what Jesus preached about most, you’d probably hear something about love. In John’s gospel, Jesus mentioned love 28 times (8 times in Matthew).
But one of Matthew’s major themes is “the kingdom,” which he refers to over 50 times (over 40 times in Luke).

Treatment of women, Social Justice, The poor
There are 3 primary views in Christian ethics on the roles of women.
Biblical patriarchy: upholds the view that there should be a hierarchy of male over female authority.
Christian egalitarianism: argues that the Bible supports “mutual submission” and maintains that positions of authority and responsibility in marriage and religion should be equally available to females as well as males.
Complementarianism: contains aspects of both of the above views, viewing women as “ontologically equal” but “functionally different.”

Covenants Part 11a - The New Covenant
At the Last Supper, Jesus used the term “new testament” to describe the covenant he established between God and mankind. He uses the word “new” to contrast the covenant to the one which Moses was the mediator.

Christology, Apologetics and Accountability
A Biblical understanding of Jesus Christ is crucial to our salvation. Many cults and world religions claim to believe in Jesus Christ. The problem is that they do not believe in the Jesus Christ presented in the Bible.
That is why Christology is so important. It helps us to understand the significance of the deity of Christ. It demonstrates why Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Christology teaches us that Jesus had to be man so that He could die - and had to be God so that His death would pay for our sins. It is perhaps the most important area of theology.
Without a proper understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what He accomplished; all other areas of theology will be wrong as well.

Is the COVID vaccine the mark of the beast
According to the Washington Post (16 Feb 2021):
Some churches and Christian ministries with large online followings — as well as Christian influencers on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube — are making false claims that vaccines contain fetal tissue or microchips, or are construing associations between vaccine ingredients and the devil. Others talk about how coronavirus vaccines and masks contain or herald the “mark of the beast” …
