The doctrine of baptisms is one of the six foundation doctrines listed in Hebrews 6:1-2. There are 3 main baptisms for the Christian.

There are 3 major Greek texts to use when translating the NT: 1) The Textus Receptus: The Greek text family (initially assembled by Erasmus) from which the KJV was translated. Similar, but not identical to the Majority Text. 2) The Critical Text (CT): the premises are “older readings, manuscripts, or manuscript groups are preferred” and “the shorter reading is the more probable reading.” 3) The Majority Text (MT): The basic premise is “Any reading overwhelmingly attested by the manuscript tradition is more likely to be original than its rival(s).”

Understanding the Doctrines of the Resurrection of the dead and Judgement that awaits each one of us is crucial and foundational as a Christian and it helps one to understand future events more clearly.

Characteristics of true repentance. True repentance is a gift of God. Acts 5:31. Repentance follows Godly sorrow. 2 Corinthians 7:9-10. Humility accompanies true repentance. Job 42:1-6. A hatred of sin accompanies true repentance. Ezekiel 36:26-31. Shame accompanies true repentance. Jeremiah 31:19. True repentance necessitates a verbal confession. Hosea 14:1-2. True repentance is demonstrated by action. Acts 26:20 A Clear Understanding of the Gospel is needed for repentance. True Personal Faith in Jesus is needed for repentance.

Every country has different laws governing how organizations should operate and how they should be structured. There are however, many similarities and the overriding principles are the same.

In modern English Bible versions like the NIV and NASB, the Greek “magoi” is rendered by the transliterated Latin form – “Magi”. In the KJV, the translators rendered it as “wise men”. These Magi were indeed “wise men” as indicated by their actions. But what can we learn today from their story?

"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. We ourselves are not our own, we are God’s. That means that our body, our talents, our possessions, our money and our time are not ours, they belong to God and we have been put in charge of managing them.

Regeneration is a unique feature in New Testament religion. In heathen religions the permanence of character is universally recognised. Though these religions prescribe penances and rituals whereby man may hope to atone for his sins, there is no promise of life and grace to transform his nature. The religion of Jesus Christ is the only religion which takes man’s fallen nature and regenerates it by bringing it into the life of God.
