To hit the mark, people around the world will need to quadruple their efforts to bring toilets to everyone. * Lack of attention to sanitation problems in the social and political realms leads to serious consequences for humankind. Public health deterioration and economic injustice are just consequences that communities face when proper sanitation is not a top priority. Converestely, adequate individual and community sanitation boosts economies and “unlocks human productivity”.
