We stayed 7 days and it was amazing, windy but amazing! The Grasslands are just outside of the Badlands.

Beauty of a sail boat skillfully maneuvers a hard turn and heads back out to sea in the Santa Cruz area of California.

While camping we kept seeing this woodpecker who would show up and get busy so of course I decided to video him, hope you enjoy seeing him too!

Fun time riding the quads and a few motorcycles down this rocky trail at Boca Reservoir in the Tahoe National Forest.

Out riding ATV's when we came upon this cute and curious little calf, she really seemed to want to paly.

Meteor Crater is a very impressive crater that is the result if a meteor striking earth fifty thousand years ago! The guided tour is a short very windy walk (the crater creates its own vortex of wind) which is both informative and fun!

Rode this train and enjoyed stunning landscapes! We took the 9 a.m. train, spent 2 hours in Silverton having lunch then back on the train for the ride back! It made for a very fun day!

If you ever get the chance to take the boat ride on the lake do it, it was informative and fun!

Anza Borrego is located in the desert portion of California, it is where you will find 130 metal sculptures scattered throughout the desert area. They are immense and they are beautiful, some tell a story and some are simply sculptures. If you make it there be sure to see the dragon or serpent depending on how you see him, he is a must see! October is breast cancer awareness month, I have lost my Mom and my Sister to this illness and have survived 3 BC battles myself. I have lost friends and have many who have survived. My best to all who have battled and to those who have cared for them!

We spotted this shipwreck as we were walking along one of the many bluff coastline hiking trails in the area. It looks like it has been there for awhile.

In this video we are arriving at the cabin for a really delicious lunch, great hospitality and warm cocoa to boot!

Enjoyed watching the surfboard sailers as they enjoyed good winds on the Columbia River.

We were at Moss Landing near Santa Cruz when we noticed groups of seals swimming in to sleep on the rocks. By the time we left there were hundreds of them!

While visiting Oregon we had to stop by Astoria to see the historic column built in 1926! When we visited people were allowed to climb up the column to the top! You could also purchase a biodegradable airplane to toss off of the top of the column. If you get the chance it is well worth the visit!

While enjoying the sunset we were treated to two playful seals swimming by the sunset in Morrow Bay.

Black Hill Central Railroad goes round trip from Hill City to Keystone and back! Is is an authentic 1880 steam locomotive. The ride is fun, relaxing and educational, if you get the chance check it out!

Enjoyed photographing a host of dogs as they scampered by us as we sat on the beach. So many different personalities, so much fun to watch!

This was 4 years ago and oh so much fun! We rode our rides up 19 creeks to get to where we were heading...can’t wait to go back!

Several years back we were on a cruise and signed up for this little tour, it was much tamer than what we are used to but it was a bunch of fun and the meal we were serve at mid point was wonderful! All in all it was a fun way to spend a day!
