The cement tanker located at Seacliff State Beavh in California was too late to be in the war, however in 1929 it was permanently docked where you see it now. In its hay day it was a dance hall and social gathering spot. It and the pier are now off limits as it was severely damaged due to storms.

This gem of Santa Cruz, California opened in 1936, I can imagine all the great shows that premiered there over the years. It had its ups and downs, but thankfully it was restored and is the beauty you see in the video. If you get the chance, it is worth a visit!

A recent visit to the beach was filled with these little creatures, I thought you might enjoy seeing them. Turn the music up and relax for a moment.

October is breast cancer awareness month, I have lost my Mom and my Sister to this illness and have survived 3 BC battles myself. I have lost friends and have many who have survived. My best to all who have battled and to those who have cared for them!

We were at Moss Landing near Santa Cruz when we noticed groups of seals swimming in to sleep on the rocks. By the time we left there were hundreds of them!

When visiting this lighthouse it is well worth taking the tour, you get the opportunity to climb into the lens and see the inner workings. It is also well worth checking out at night when the it is lit, the surrounding forest lights up with the red and white lights!

I found out about comet Neowise near the end of its visibility to us, I captured what I could knowing it will not return for 7000 years!
