Quite a few years ago (2010 maybe)... As we always do at our families Thanksgiving celebration, my brother ("yeah I got nailed too") and my cousin ("ah sh!t") thought it would be a great idea to shoot a bowling ball with a shotgun. In the face, from point blank range, I just happened to be video taping the whole thing. You have to have your sound turned on to appreciate this. I still laugh...

This was a six stage match (the "fast six"), by the time our squad arrived at the final stage, Smoke and Hope, I didn't give myself any hope of moving my RFRO into the GM classification. I had previously shot this stage in 7.29 seconds (96.02% - GM) and didn't think there was any room for improvement. After my 1st string I figured it was time to have some fun. By my 3rd string I was just focusing on staying clean.

If you've ever mixed rimfire binary targets, you know that there is always some left over.... So, after mixing 30 targets, we took the left over, made a "puck" out of the lids of the mixing agent and some tape and.... well, you see. by the way, this is in slow motion.

Always a classic and always a good time.

This was my first time GM'ing the Roundabout stage in Steel Challenge. You can tell by my reaction that I didn't think I had put up that kind of times. BTW... If I hadn't double tapped the stop plate on that 2nd string, that string would have been 1.77 seconds... Putting me well above 100% Oh well.

Alice running RFPO (Rimfire Pistol Open) and RFRI (Rimfire Rifle Iron Sights. This is her 3rd time running the pistol, Her RFRI is her best division and she proved that on this day... at least 3 personal best stages if I remember correctly. She put a whipping on all of Team Carrie on this day.

Proof that my Brother and my Father are alike... Dad followed Brent in the shooting order... During the Roundabout stage, Dad shot the stop plate early costing himself 6 seconds for 2 missed plates (3 seconds per missed plate). On the very next stage, Showdown, Brent did the very same thing. I'm thinking he saw dad do it, and wanted to be just like him. :)

Every year, Red Brush range near Evansville Indiana hosts a "Machine Gun Pumpkin Shoot", where everyone brings their machine guns and unloads on a bunch of pumpkins. This video is of the opening "Belt Gun" round... there are some pumpkins out there with tannerite in them!
