Description

Based on my late father’s music, I’m writing a stage musical; a quirky journey of discovery set against the backdrop of the socio-political events of today’s madness. Following the mysterious disappearance of the annual flu, the story is set in the fictitious Davosian Empire and focusses on the relationship of the male and female leads, who are unable to get together due to restrictions brought in to curb the spread of this virus.

The plot delves into inner sanctum of the empire’s leadership, known as the World’s Ergonomic Forum (the WEF). It is an institution of unbridled power, established to ensure optimal efficiencies and the ultimate comforts and luxuries for its members - yet in a slightly extended mandate, but nevertheless true to the spirit of ergonomics, they also concern themselves with safety, security and human factors engineering for the remaining citizens of the empire

In this story of hope, the couple reunite, and love prevails.
