Session 26: Confession Pt. 2
Students: Here we look at what the NT has to say about Confession. Confessing is something we do with our mouth as Paul says and how can the Apostles forgive or not forgive without knowing what we've done? That Authority was Jesus', he handed it down to the Apostles and they in-turn had it down to the Bishops and priest. Enjoy the Tirduum & Easter Break!

Session 22: The Eucharist Pt. 4 & Catholic Vote
Students, we get to a climax on the Eucharist by looking at John 6 and looking at the biblical theology on the Eucharist from the Bible. Also, last week we interjected the four senses of scripture and how we can read the bible. This week we take a tangent on a simple overview of how to vote like a Catholic. Rarely do have a prefect candidate or proposition but with the help of the Church we can form our conscience and vote with a Catholic Voice.

Session 21: The Eucharist Pt. 3 & The Four Senses of Scripture
Students: We continue our journey through the Eucharist looking at the last supper narratives found in the synoptic gospels as well as the multiplication of the bread, one of only two miracles found in all four gospels. In addition we read in 1 Cor. 11: 23-26, how Paul speaks of being taught/instructed on the Eucharist and the Mass through the apostles. Then, we took a tangent to see how one can read and understand the bible by understanding the Four Senses of Scripture. Don't forget Fr. Mike Schmitz Bible in a Year. Thank you & God Bless.

Session 15: Mary's Perpetual Virginity & Infant Baptism
With this session we cover one of the three Marian Dogmas. We've covered the Immaculate Conception, Mary, Mother of God & now Mary's Perpetual Virginity. We also cover Infant Baptism in more detail from Baptism in general. We also discussed a recent document from the Church "Fiducia Supplicans", I was as generous as I could be, but honestly the document seems to be unnecessary and poorly written from the Church highest office, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF). It's not a solemn proclamation and from my very limited knowledge isn't a development of doctrine. It's a document that adds more confusion and not as we have seen from the aftermath. God Bless.

Session 12: Intro to the Sacraments (The Covenant Oath)
This class is but a small sample of Scott Hahn's book "Swear to God" https://stpaulcenter.com/product/swear-to-god-the-promise-and-power-of-the-sacraments/. The idea of "seven'ing" yourself to God under the Covenants and of course the New and Everlasting Covenant, seemed to be a good intro to The Sacraments - The 7 Sacraments, Sacrifice, Meal - The Eucharist. Great Stuff.

Session #9: Purgatory, Indulgences & The 4 Marks of the Church
We wrap up our discussion on the Saints, Purgatory, & Indulgences and begin the Four Marks of the Church - One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic. Once we determine that Jesus established only One Church, we then have to make the case that Catholic Church is the only Church that fully embodies These 4 marks. Keep in mind that these classes are very intro but I do think with the foundation we've been building on the case for Jesus and Catholic Church is coming together. Thank you for your patience and God Bless.

Session #8: The Saints, Images & Relics
Session #7 will be uploaded shortly. It was the class on Our Lady of Guadalupe. In this session we make the case for why Catholic seek the Saints for intercession and just how biblical it is. By extension we cover Relics, Statues, & Images. The Bible's prohibition is on "graven images" not images that life up the mind and soul to God. Remember all good that is done is God, He just let's up share in that goodness. He allows us to be his "coworkers".
