The restoration of my very first battle against Ornstein and Smough in Dark Souls. This particular fight means a lot to me, as it was the first time I fought such a hard boss, and as I generally consider it the peak of difficulty in this game. It was played with keyboard and mouse on a Microsoft Windows PC. Far too many pains were suffered to even make the original video as the total length of the raw footage was a little over 4 or 5 hours, and had to be cut down to roughly 30 minutes. The redux has improved brightness and contrast to help viewers see the boss better in dark areas and from a distance, as the quality in the old video was bad. Also includes replacement music in response to Sony Music Entertainment blocking the video worldwide. As I said at the beginning of the video, they will not have their way. Finally, the aftermath of the battle isn't all that important and I wanted to make it shorter and just about the fight itself, so unfortunately it's not included in this video.
