Vexilla Regis Prodeunt - The King's Banners Come Forth
Gregorian Chant - Ressurection
Vexilla Regis Prodeunt (A Capella Catholic Choir - Gregorian Chant)
Arrangement by Caitlin Foster 2024
Sung by: Caitlin Foster, Emma Nwobilor, Michael Foster, and John Griffith
Author: Venantius Fortunatus (530-609)
Meter: Iambic dimeter
Translation: W. K. Blount
Liturgical Use: Vespers hymn from Passion Sunday to Wednesday of Holy Week. It is also the Vespers hymn on the Feasts of the Finding (May 3) and of the Exaltation (Sept. 14) of the Holy Cross. The Vexilla Regis was originally intended as a Processional Hymn, and it is still so used on Good Friday, when the Blessed Sacrament is carried from the Repository to the High Altar. Neale justly styles the Vexilla Regis “a world-famous hymn” and “one of the grandest in the treasury of the Latin Church.” It was composed by Fortunatus on the occasion of the reception of a relic of the True Cross, which was sent by the Emperor Justin II to St. Radegunde. (Taken from Rev. Matthew Britt’s The Hymns of the Breviary and Missal).

Vanquish or Die! The Vendee Uprising - A True Story - English Subtitles
In 1793, in France a French National Assembly created a Civil Constitution which required all Roman Catholic priests to transfer their allegiance from the Holy See to the Constitution and, by extension, to the increasingly anti-clerical and anti-Catholic National Constituent Assembly of the Republic. All but seven of the 160 French bishops refused to take the oath, as did about half of the parish priests. Anti-clericalism and coercive secularization of French culture triggered the Vendée rebellion; another trigger was further mass conscription into the French Revolutionary Army. The March 1793 conscription requiring Vendeans to fill their district's quota of the national total of 300,000 enraged the local nobility, clergy, and the populace, who took up arms instead as "The Royal Catholic Army", and fought for "above all the reopening of their parish churches with their former priests."
This is their story.

Akita - Weeping statue and Our Lady's prophetic messages.
Our Lady of Akita (Japanese: 秋田の聖母マリア) is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with the Marian apparitions reported in 1973 by Sister Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa in the remote area of Yuzawadai, an outskirt of Akita, Japan. The messages emphasize prayer (especially recitation of the Holy Rosary) and penance in combination with cryptic prophecies warning of sacerdotal persecution and heresy within the Catholic Church. A wooden statue representing the apparitions is venerated by the Japanese faithful and other Catholics. In December of 1973, a Japanese television station videotaped tears coming from the statue's eyes.
The apparitions were unusual in that the weeping statue of the Virgin Mary was broadcast on Japanese national television, and gained further notice with the sudden healing of hearing impairments experienced by Sasagawa after the apparitions.
In 1975, Bishop Ito began initial consultation with the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF). Having been advised that preliminary jurisdiction resides with the local ordinary, the following year he convened an inquiry commission which arrived at the conclusion that it is "not in a position to prove the supernatural events".
In light of new CDF norms for examining "presumed apparitions or revelations", which had been published the previous year, Bishop Ito requested a CDF intervention to create another inquiry commission. In 1981, the CDF, being "unfavorable to the events", responded that it will not initiate a new examination.
In 1982, Bishop Ito, stating that the 1981 CDF response "contained some misunderstandings", sent a "complete dossier, augmented with the new facts" to the CDF.[36] and met with CDF officials in 1983 while the case remained under examination.
On April 22, 1984, Bishop Ito, noting that the case had been under examination for eight years, issued a statement that he did not find in the events "any elements which are contrary to Catholic faith and morals". He recognized "the supernatural character of a series of mysterious events concerning the statue" in the convent, and authorized "the veneration of the Holy Mother of Akita" within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Niigata ("while awaiting definitive judgment on this matter" pronounced by the Holy See). He further clarified that the events were a private revelation and not necessary for salvation like public revelation.
In June 1988, a now-retired Ito met with Cardinal Ratzinger, then head of the CDF. Ratzinger gave his verbal approval to Ito's 1984 letter, while not rendering "judgement about the credibility of the events".

St Padre Pio of Pietrelcina
Padre Pio: Miracle Man is a 2000 Italian television movie directed by Carlo Carlei. The film is based on the book Padre Pio: Man of Hope by Renzo Allegri and it depicts real life events of Roman Catholic friar and later Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. The film was presented in two parts. The first part aired on 17 April 2000 while the second part aired on 19 April 2000.
Written by Massimo De Rita, Mario Falcone, Carlo Carlei
Directed by Carlo Carlei
Starring: Sergio Castellitto
1968: in San Giovanni Rotondo, Apulia, the old Padre Pio is dying, seriously ill. During the night, there comes a mysterious Cardinal, who seems to come just to disturb Padre Pio and taunt him with all the shortcomings of the friar during his lifetime. Padre Pio then captures the moment to tell all his secrets, starting from childhood.
The young Francesco (Padre Pio), was born in a small town in Campania (Pietrelcina), and underwent talks with God, but he was also besieged and tormented by the Devil, who manifested himself in the shape of a black dog. After a few miracles, Francesco became a novice and went first to Molise, then to Pietrelcina (his hometown), and then to San Giovanni Rotondo. He also received the stigmata from God for his faithfulness, and in a convent in Apulia he decided to stay for life. Immediately, his fame grows throughout Italy, but the Vatican thinks that the stigmata are false, and condemns Padre Pio. But the crowd of faithful is growing, and at the end of the story the Pope decides to change his mind.

Padre Pio heals addiction/physical ailment
A couple of testimonials of how Padre Pio, through his intercession, helped various people. These are miracles after Padre Pio's death.
In the first story, it is about someone who had a drinking problem, and this person wishes to remain anonymous. But he tells us this story. Late one night, he was walking to his home from work and he was praying the rosary in order to overcome a particular problem that he had with alcohol. He said this problem had been getting worse over time. But he was newly married and he now had an infant son. And he realized if he did not overcome this drinking problem, if he did not defeat it, then his future was going to be filled with disasters.
And so now he was determined to overcome the problem. And in his concern about this and worry about it, he turned to Padre Pio, asking him for help. And he was praying the rosary at this time when suddenly, a fragrance of indescribable beauty, of indescribable character fill the air.
In the second story a man who had incredible pain in his ankles and back and joints was healed by Padre Pio in a dream.

Saint Veronica Giuliani-Documentary/Reenactment - Italian - English Subtitles
The Awakening of a Giant! 27 Dec, 1660 - 9 July 1727. 66 years old.
St.Veronica had a lifelong devotion to Christ crucified that eventually became manifested in physical signs. The marks of the crown of thorns appeared on her forehead in 1694 and the five wounds on her body in 1697. Giuliani was humiliated by the stigmata itself and by her bishop's rigorous testing of her experience. He removed her from ordinary community life and put her under constant observation. When he determined that the phenomena were authentic, he allowed her to return to normal convent life and continue her service to her sisters.
For fifty years, St.Veronica lived in the monastery of the Capuchin Poor Clares in Città di Castello in Umbria, Italy. With gritty determination tempered by humility, she led her sisters as novice mistress for thirty-four years and as abbess for eleven. Giuliani governed the convent with obvious common sense and guided the novices with prudence. She would not allow them to read mystical books, requiring them instead to study books on Christian basics. In 1716, she was elected abbess. As a practical woman, she improved her sisters’ comfort by enlarging the convent rooms and having water piped inside.

Miracle of Saint Therese - B&W Movie - 1962
MIRACLE OF ST. THERESE THE LITTLE FLOWER - FEATURE FILM
Miracle of St. Thérèse (also known as Trial at the Vatican) is a French film released on August 29th, 1952. It is directed by André Haguet and written by Haguet and André Legrand. It chronicles the life of Thérèse Martin (played by France Descaut), better known as St. Thérèse the Little Flower or Thérèse of Lisieux.
This is the acclaimed dramatic feature film made in France in 1960 that tells the story of the life of Therese of Lisieux from childhood through her death as a Carmelite nun at age 24. Film critics have called it “an excellent, reverent biopic” on St. Therese that accurately portrays the saint’s story and her unique spirituality in a very appealing performance by French actress France Descaut. The movie offers numerous glimpses into Therese’s “little way” of spiritual childhood, (her particular charism that helped make her a Doctor of the Church) including situations of conflict between Therese and her mother prioress regarding her conviction of striving for perfection with confidence and trust in the mercy and love of God. Beautifully filmed in black and white, with fine performances by the whole cast, this film is an unsung cinematic gem that captures the spirit and life of the beloved St. Therese.

Our Lady of La Salette - Message & Consecration
“Rome will lose the Faith, and become the seat of the Antichrist,” she warned. “But I will fight for the Children of Light.”
On June 1, 2023 some fifty American traditional Catholics made a pilgrimage to La Salette, France, to publicly stand with the Mother of God against those who are trying to uncrown Christ the King and abolish the faith of our fathers.
Kneeling on a mountaintop high above the clouds in the French Alps, and using a prayer composed for the occasion by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, they consecrated themselves, their families, and their country to Our Lady of La Salette.
Narrated by Michael J. Matt, this short video explains why some of the most powerful men in the Catholic Church have made every effort to cancel Our Lady of La Salette, bury her dire warnings, and undermine what happened here. Why? Watch and see.

Our Lady of Guadalupe-Documentary
Incredible documentary on Our Lady of Guadalupe from St.Luke to Spain to Mexico. Includes detailed analysis of the "painting" with interviews and scientific proof of its many miraculous attributes. Some reenactments help to animate the story.
December 1531, Mexico. The Virgin Mary appears to a Mexican Indian, Juan Diago, but nobody believes him. On Her request the humble peasant wraps in his "tilma" some Castilian roses, mysteriously flowering on a bare, rocky hillside in the middle of winter. In front of the Bishop he opens his cape (tilma) discovering the miracle: the miraculous image of the Virgin is impressed upon it.
The image is extraordinarily real. The results of analysis are amazing. In the Virgin's eyes the 13 figures who witnessed the miracle are visible. The stars on her cloak are positioned exactly as they were in the miracle's day (12.12.1531). As was there a crescent moon. The painting technique used is unknown and the image is not even attached to the cloak. The colors and organic cloak have remained intact for centuries, through acid burns, the cathedral bombing and normal environmental effects. Analysis of the "paint" used, determined there is no material on earth that matches its composition.
And that's not all: an extraordinary discovery reveals the Spanish origin (from Extremadura, Spain) of the name of Guadalupe and its incredible connection with the Evangelist Saint Luke.

St.Francis of Assisi - a historical review
Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone, OFM, better known as Francis of Assisi (Italian: Francesco d'Assisi; 1181 – 3 October 1226) was an Italian mystic and Catholic friar who founded the Franciscans. He was inspired to lead a life of poverty and extreme sacrifice as an itinerant preacher administering to lepers. St.Francis was canonized by Pope Gregory IX on 16 July 1228 only 2 years after his death. He is one of the earliest recorded recipients of the wounds of Jesus Christ, (the stigmata).
The Patron Saint of Italy, animals and ecology.
He is also considered the patron against dying alone; against fire; patron of the Franciscan Order and Catholic Action; of families, peace, and needleworkers.
The Peace Prayer
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, the truth;
Where there is doubt, the faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are raised to eternal life. Amen.

St.Martín de Porres Movie - English Subtitles
St. Martín de Porres, in full Juan Martín de Porres Velázquez, (born 1579, Lima, Viceroyalty of Peru (now in Peru)—died November 3, 1639, Lima; canonized 1962; feast day November 3), Peruvian friar noted for his kindness, his nursing of the sick, his obedience, and his charity. He is the patron saint of social justice, racial harmony, and mixed-race people.
Born of a liaison between a Spanish grandee and a free black woman, Martín de Porres was raised in poverty and bore the stigmas of both his illegitimate birth and his mixed race. He was placed to study with a barber-surgeon, where he learned bloodletting and the administration of medicines. Compassionate and eager to serve, he began to volunteer with the Dominicans at age 15 and helped care for the sick in the monastery infirmary. He became a Dominican oblate, or lay monastic, in 1601. Although it was not customary then to receive a mulatto into a religious order in Peru, Martín was considered an exception and became a Dominican lay brother in 1610. He was known for his devotion to the Eucharist and constant prayer, and he refrained from eating meat as an act of austerity. In addition to his work in the infirmary, Martín distributed food and alms to the poor and needy in Lima and was friends with St. Rose of Lima, another lay Dominican. For the youth of Lima, he established a school, considered by some to be his monument.
His funeral was an occasion of public honour, and many miracles were said to have occurred after his death. He was beatified in 1837 by Pope Gregory XVI and canonized by Pope John XXIII.
