The area surrounding the Sun is filled with the gravitational field generated by the center of the Milky Way galaxy. If the Sun remains stationary relative to the galactic center, it will not disturb the gravitational field originating from the center, and therefore, no gravitational waves will be present around the Sun. However, when the Sun moves relative to the galactic center, it disturbs the gravitational field, resulting in the formation of gravitational waves around the Sun. Gravitational waves propagate at the speed of light and are transverse waves in the gravitational field. Due to the Doppler effect between the Sun and the gravitational waves, the distribution of gravitational waves around the Sun is uneven. The density of gravitational waves is highest in the direction of the Sun's orbital velocity and lowest in the opposite direction. As a result of the unevenly distributed gravitational waves around the Sun, the orbits of planets orbiting the Sun experience precession. Based on the model of universal gravity under the influence of gravitational waves described above, we have derived the dynamic gravitational equation and applied this equation in an N-body model to calculate the precession of planetary orbits in the solar system. Our calculated results are consistent with the astronomical observation data published by NASA. As a software engineer who has a passion for astrophysics, I am not a professional astronomer.
