I have been hunting Chamois since 2016 in my hunting territory and this time the dream chamois hunt came true. It is pretty easy to get one in the wooden area but I was dreaming about getting one in the mountains. Well finally I got lucky enough and I was able to take this amazing chamois male. It was not an easy shot since the distance was 564m (617y) and the wind was blowing like crazy. However I measured the wind that was constant so I decided to take the shot. My Bergara B14 wilderness HMR chambered in 6,5PRC did the job. The 143gr hornady Eld-x bullet dropped the chamois almost in its steps. He only managed to jump from the rock and fell down. I also never got disappointed by the Kahles K525i scope.
