Chicken Pad Thai Recipe | Homemade Takeout
Make your own Chicken Pad Thai at home. So simple and flavorful.
1 1/2 cups boneless/skinless chicken thighs
Soy sauce
Oil
Corn starch
2-3 garlic cloves, pressed Cabbage
Rice noodles/Rice sticks
Green onion
Cilantro
Peanuts, crushed
Sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter
Dash of sesame oil
1 1/2 teaspoons chili paste
Cut chicken thighs into bite sized pieces. Drizzle with soy sauce until coated and let sit 5-10 minutes. Heat oil in skillet, drain soy sauce off of chicken and coat pieces in corn starch. Cook in hot oil until cooked through and set aside. In separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook noodles until soft. Drain and set aside. In same pan used to cook chicken, add more oil and cook garlic 2-3 minutes. Stir in cabbage and cook until soft. Add chicken and noodles back to pan and drizzle with sauce, turning until all is coated. Garnish with chopped green onion, cilantro and peanuts.

Tim Tim Shrimp (Homemade Bang Bang Style Sauce on Crispy Battered Shrimp ) Perfect crunchy and creamy appetizer.
20 large shrimp
2 cups buttermilk
Garlic powder
Corn starch
SAUCE
1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce
Pinch of salt
Dash of soy sauce
1 teaspoon peanut butter
2 teaspoons orange marmalade
Soak peeled and deveined shrimp in buttermilk for 30 minutes. Remove shrimp one at a time and coat in corn starch. Drop in hot peanut oil (345 degrees) and fry until golden brown. Mix together sauce ingredients. Remove shrimp from oil and drain. While still hot, coat in sauce and serve over cooked rice.

Make Your Own Egg Drop Soup in 4 Minutes.
4 cups chicken broth
1/3 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Dash of black pepper
3 eggs
1 tablespoon water
Heat broth in large pot with onion, ginger, bouillon, oil and pepper until
boiling. Mix eggs in separate bowl with water. Stir soup quickly until funnel forms. Pour eggs in slowly and stir. Eggs will become ribbon like. Soup is ready to serve.

Self Rising Flour
3/4 cup of Milk
Splash of Canola oil
Dehydrated apples (soaked in water overnight)
Make a well in flour. Pour in milk and oil and slowly mix in with flour until dough forms. Pull out small segments and roll into circles. Fill with apples, fold in half and seal with fingers. Place in frying pain with oil and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.

Fully Loaded Pasta Salad Recipe. Everything but the kitchen sink!
1 package colored rotini
1/3 red pepper
2 broccoli crowns
1 cup black olives
7-8 shrimp
3 smoked sausage links
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 1/2 tablespoons Italian dressing
2 1/2 tablespoons Ranch dressing
2 pieces of bacon, crumbled
1 tomato
1 cup parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to directions, drain and cool. Cut up veggies and mix together with pasta. Boil shrimp and sausage until done, drain and cool. Cut up and add to pasta with shredded cheddar cheese. Mix together mayonnaise, Italian, and Ranch dressing in separate bowl. Pour into pasta and toss to distribute. Crumble bacon and add chopped tomato and parmesan cheese on top and serve. (Add more dressing if needed or desired)

1 stick butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Top
15 ounces sliced peaches
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Beat together butter, eggs and sugar. In separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients and slowly add to wet ingredients while mixing. Pour into greased 9x13 dish. Top with peaches and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Place in oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and honey if desired.

Fried Buffalo Cauliflower Recipe
1/2 cup corn starch
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Salt
1 cup of beer
Cauliflower florets
Mix together batter until smooth.Heat olive oil to 280 degrees.
Coat cauliflower in batter and deep fry for about 8 minutes, until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towel. Toss in buffalo sauce and serve.
BUFFALO SAUCE

Alligator Fritters Recipe (Or any Firm Fleshed Fish)
Fritter recipe to be used with gator meat or any firm fleshed fish. Easy and filling with some homemade remoulade sauce on the side.
2 cups all purpose flour
Season salt or dry rub
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup of beer
1/2 cup red pepper
1/2 cup green pepper
3/4 cup onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons pickled jalapeños, chopped
1 egg
1/4 cup corn relish (or plain corn)
1 1/2 - 2 cups alligator (or any firm fleshed fish)
Mix together all ingredients until combined. Scoop into balls and place in hot oil. Flatten with spatula and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towel. Serve with remoulade for dipping.
REMOULADE
1 cup mayonnaise
1-2 tablespoons mustard
1 teaspoon horseradish
Splash of hot sauce
Splash of sweet pickle juice
Dry rub
Mix all together until smooth. Chill until serving.

BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL APPLE DUMPLINGS
Sauce
1 1⁄2 sticks butter
1⁄2 cup brown sugar
1⁄4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla Dash cinnamon oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Dough
1 tablespoon lard
Dash sugar
Dash salt
1 cup of flour + more as needed
Water as needed
4 apples, peeled & cored
Dash cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
Instant vanilla pudding
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together sauce ingredients over low-medium heat until combined. Set aside. Mix together dough ingredients adding more flour and water as needed until dough consistency. Separate into 4 sections and roll out into flat circles. Place whole apples in center of dough and pull up sides and wrap like a package. Place in baking dish. Repeat for all apples. Top with cinnamon and nutmeg and coat in sauce. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Prepare pudding according to package instructions. Heat if desired and pour over apple dumplings and serve.

Dash of vanilla
Dash of salt
Dash of nutmeg
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup warm milk
Beat egg and add in vanilla, salt, nutmeg and sugar. Slowly add warm milk while stirring. Pour into 3 small ramekins. Place in baking dish and add water to just under the rim of the ramekins (water used to steam the custards). Cook 40 minutes at 325 degrees.

Oil
1⁄2 onion, chopped
1 shallot, chopped
1-2 cloves of garlic
1⁄2 pound Italian sausage
1⁄2 pound ground beef
Large can diced tomatoes + 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1⁄2 cup tomato sauce
Fresh basil and oregano
2 tablespoons basil pesto
1 tablespoon butter
Cooked spaghetti noodles
Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1 cup ricotta
Mozzarella cheese
Add oil to the pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent. Stir in garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add in meat and stir until cooked. Drain meat if needed. Stir in diced tomatoes, sauce, herbs and pesto. In separate pan, add in cooked spaghetti and butter. Stir until butter is melted. Beat 2 eggs and stir into noodles, adding parmesan cheese and herbs if desired. Top with ricotta cheese and sauce mixture. Cover with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Cover and cook 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
