For this coyote the answer is possum...

The rabbit was lucky...this time. The owl was apparently after other prey.

This yearling buck has been bullied and chased for most of the last year. However, with the rut approaching, it appears that he is asserting his dominance. The bleating sounds are the fawns, upset that they cannot get to the corn.

What do little coons do when alarmed?

In this video, the doe reacts to something that catches her off guard...a perceived threat. In response, the fawn immediately reacts, going into its camouflage/hide position...hiding in plain sight. Every once in a while, I am lucky enough to capture a great candid wildlife shot...This has to be one of them.

When walking around my property to collect my trail cameras, it is not unusual for me to jump deer. I am always on the lookout to see if I can spot them before they spot me. Of course, that is rarely the case. As in this video, they are aware of my presence, long before I am aware of theirs.

These coons are alarmed about something and express it vocally.

What has the coons excited?

Crazy coons...its mating season for the coons, and this kind of behavior has shown up in several videos...

Two young deer playing chase...wish I had even a fraction of their energy.

When I move cameras around, the deer always notice it. It didn't take this youngster long to notice that something was out of place.

A little buck decides to approach a coon, but apparently, a grown doe doesn't like the behavior and lets him know.

I don't know what this kitten had been up to, but mom had been sitting on the bridge a little while calling. Guess kids will be kids. Once the kitten arrived, they took off as the video shows.
