Fate/Stay Night, the acclaimed visual novel by Kinoko Nasu, is a masterwork of theme exploration, but its vivid and compelling cast of characters is what has made it a worldwide phenomenon. Viewers and critics alike point to the uncommon quality of the story's prominent characters....with one notable exception.
