I just wanted to have a little fun in this video playing the Spanish theme that guitarists usually learn in the beginning of their journey but I’m sure I’m missing a measure of the song! 😂 Although, do the good freedom loving people of Taiwan listen to Spanish music? 🤔 You never know! Many rock bands from Japan and South Korea are very popular here in the United States so you never know what people of other nations are into! 😂 That being said, with future conflicts on the horizon, I wanted to make it clear where I stood on the matter of how the world is treating the democratic nation of Taiwan that is facing the threat of communist aggression, despite my light hearted delivery of where I stood on the matter. As I continue my journey in learning the guitar I’m constantly reminded of how music brings people together and I would love to use music to help people get behind moral causes for good. This was actually the first riff I learned as I grew up being a huge Metallica fan. I feel like I hit that last note a little slow but I thank you all for your advice on my right hand placement over the bridge. I do feel more relaxed and I’m having an easier time playing with a heavier pick. Of course, I will upload better versions of the riffs I play as I improve because this is in no way up to Metallica standards 😂

As you can all see, I’m a new guitarist and I have decided to upload videos of my journey as I progress. I’m starting off a little later in life than I would have liked but better late than never, I guess…? As of the day I posted this video I have been playing the guitar for two months and I’m very excited to see where this journey in learning the guitar takes me in life! I will try to post videos as frequently as I can as I work around my busy work schedule! I invite all guitarists to continue watching my videos and share any advice that you can provide in helping me improve my techniques! Money is really tight these days so I’m unable to get professional guitar lessons and I’m instead learning to play on my own with occasional lessons that I’m able to get from the associate pastor of my church. I greatly appreciate any help that any of you may provide!
