Beautiful Red Spider Lilies and Maximillian Perennial Sunflowers
These beauties are all in my front yard blooming away! Red Spider Lilies and Maximillian Perennial Sunflowers go well together because the Red Spider Lily (Lycoris Radiata) is short, and the Maximillian Perennial Sunflower (Helianthus maximilliani) is tall and they both have beautiful contrasting colors! #gardening, #GardeningTwitter, #gardeningtips, #GardenersWorld, #GardenInspiration, #mygarden, #Garden_Walk, #DailyBotanicalBeauty, #Flowers, #lily, #lilies, #sunflower,

Huge swarm of Dragonflies eating flying ants swarming trying to fly away from ant bed!
A section of my yard had an uncountable number of Dragonflies hovering 3 to 5 feet above the ground catching every flying ant that tried to leave the ant bed and fly away. I showed you a small area of the yard, but it looked to be about a 1/4-acre area that was swarming with Dragonflies.

This is Winnie and Sweety
This is Winnie our sweet little girl! I believe she is a Jack Russell Terrier. We got her from a very nice lady who needed to rehome her. She has been a complete blessing to us, and we love her very much! She keeps the squirrels out of our fruit and nut trees and is always ready to assist Sweety our Walker coon hound with chasing away the bigger predators.

The dogs caught a possum trying to break into my chicken coop.
Winnie is a Jack Russell Terrier and Sweety is a Walker coon hound. They caught another Opossum trying to sneak into my chicken coops. We live next to a wildlife refuge area and have a lot of raccoons and opossums in the area. Sweety was a stray that showed up here one day and I adopted her. Since then, she has been an excellent protector of our chickens and other animals. The possums don't get hurt and the dogs scare them off most of the time before they get in the yard but sometimes an extra sneaky one gets in and they have to run it out.

Snake trying to eat a really fat frog!
When I walked out of my backdoor, I found this Garter snake trying to eat this fat frog! The snake looks to be a common South Carolina Garter snake. The frog is too fat for the snake to swallow. The frog got away, and we moved the snake to the back of our property and let it go.

Mockingbird Fledgling baby birds' final day in the nest before leaving.
This little one is the last baby Mockingbird in the nest. Today the other two left with their parents and this one is waiting for them to come back and get it. Mockingbirds are devoted parents, caring for their young. Female mockingbirds incubate the eggs and are primarily responsible for their care, while both parents feed their babies after they leave the nest.

Lots of American Robins and other birds visited my yard today.
We had a bunch of birds in our yard today, most were American Robins. They were everywhere today looking for food in the grass. When I see this many Robins at once it always makes me think that Fall is just around the corner.

Beautiful Swallowtail butterflies & other lovely orange and black butterflies that visit my garden.
During the summer these butterflies visit my garden daily. It is a real treat to be working in the garden and have one of these beautiful butterflies glide by! We have Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterflies here in South Carolina and I believe that is what the larger ones in the video are called. The black ones could also be Spicebush Swallowtail or Black Swallowtail butterflies. We also have Monarch butterflies here because I find the caterpillars in the garden.

For the last three days in a row, I have picked over 5 pounds of figs each day!
These are heavy, big figs and there are a lot of them on each tree. I have a total of six fig trees on the property, and these 5 pounds mostly came off of just one of the fig trees.

Manual Apple Pear Fruit Peeler, Slicer, Corer Demonstration Johnny Apple Peeler
This is a quick review of the Johnny Apple Peeler. It Works with Apples, Pears, and other fruit. It is an all-in-one Peeler, Corer, Slicer. I think it is a great little unit that really does what it is supposed to do. Very important that the fruit is not too ripe/soft, or the core holder prongs can't hold it firmly. Here is an Amazon link to purchase the exact Apple peeler, corer, slicer shown in this video. https://amzn.to/3XVu42t
