Trying To Get to the Mount | Mount Nemrut (Nemrud) 🇹🇷
During a recent snow storm, I attempt to hike up the Taurus Mountains to see the ancient wonder, Mount Nemrut/ Mount Nemrud and its large stone heads and ruins of the Commagene Kingdom. I start off by getting lost trying to find my home stay in a local village then learn of a road closure due to the recent snow storm. Join me as trek through the cold, avoid listening to local advice and have one of my favorites days in Turkey yet.

Artemis the Goddess before Mother Mary in Ephesus, Turkey 🇹🇷
From Artemis to the Mother Mary, the Ephesians had a thing for female deities and Goddesses that passed from generation to generation. Travel with me to Ephesus, Turkiye as I learn about the historical figures of this once-great capital of the Roman Empire. From Alexander the Great, Saint Paul, and Mother Mary, this city has stories that last thousands of years.

GÖBEKLITEPE: First Temple Ever
In this video I visit Göbekli Tepe, the oldest temple in the world. The Göbeklitepe site dates from 11,600 years ago and is believed to be a place of worship at a time our historians and archeologist assumed hunter-gatherers were nomadic people who did not create large civilizations. The ruins of Göbekli Tepe outside of Turkey prove otherwise. Come with me as I travel back in time to a place our ancestors decided to worship over all else.
I also visit Balıklıgöl in Sanliurfa, known in Jewish and Islamic legends as the place where Nimrod threw the Prophet Abraham into a fire which turned into water.
