Supreme Court Affirms State Owns the Land (Podcast #90)
The Supreme Court of the United States heard a case earlier this year dealing with property rights, property taxation, and the supposed right of the state to "reclaim" the land if the vassal (i.e., "homeowner") does not fork over their taxes. Luke Saint and Joel Saint join Chris Hume to discuss this recent case (Tyler v. Hennepin County), as well some comments made by James Madison. But first, they share some thoughts on the recent conference held by the Mid-Atlantic Reformation Society in Manheim, PA.

Impromptu Debate on Man-Made Law and the Constitution
What started out as a discussion about local farmer Reuben King and gun regulations quickly morphed into an impromptu, friendly debate about man-made law, the U.S. Constitution, and biblical law. Do we need more laws (or codes) than the ones that God has given us in the Bible? Or do we simply need righteous judges to apply God's law and adjudicate between disputants? Travis Schmalhofer, Joel Saint, and Chris Hume address these topics on this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast.

Podcast – Coronavirus and the Leadership of the Christian Church
In 2020, many Christian leaders suspended the assembly of the saints. Notable pastors who supported such decisions include John MacArthur and W. Robert Godfrey. MacArthur said it was an “easy call” to listen to the government and suspend worship. Godfrey claimed that God was the one “who has stopped our worship as the gathered body of Christ on the Lord’s Day.” Ernie Springer, Dr. Joel Yeager, and Dr. Daniel O’Roark disagree. Their book, Coronavirus and the Leadership of the Christian Church, is a cleareyed critique of the closing of the American church, and a call to repentance for those who buckled. On this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast, Springer and Yeager join Pastor Joel Saint and The Lancaster Patriot’s Chris Hume to discuss their book and the failure of Christian leadership, including the failure to repent of shutting down the assembly of the saints.

Podcast – Serving the False God of Transgenderism
Stories continue to emerge about teenagers undergoing gender “transition” surgeries, only to later deeply regret the mutilation of their bodies in service of the trans agenda. Despite these horror stories, trans activists (like Lititz Chooses Love’s Parker Webb) continue to push the narrative, seeking to normalize puberty-blockers and surgeries. Proponents of transgenderism claim their movement is not a religion, but on this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast, local pastor Joel Saint joins managing editor Chris Hume to rebut that claim.
