Police Officer Caught Red Handed
Police Officer Caught Red Handed But Still NO CHARGES FILED?
A police officer was taken into custody and fired after he allegedly bought drugs during an operation in Decherd last week.
The Decherd Police Department said it launched an internal investigation after receiving a complaint that a Decherd officer was illegally buying narcotics.
Over the course of the investigation by Chief Kenneth Griffin and Sgt. Investigator Greg King, official said they found evidence substantiating the allegation. As a result, authorities decided to make a controlled buy to confirm Dustin Cook was unlawfully purchasing prescription drugs.
POLICE STATEMENT -
We feel officers must be held to a higher standards and obey the laws they are sworn to uphold. The Decherd Police department has a zero-tolerance drug policy but there are resources to help employees who find themselves going down the wrong path. Dustin Cook never reached out for assistance and had passed pre-employment and random drug screenings. If you or a loved one are struggling with substance abuse issues, we strongly encourage you to seek help to escape that addiction.

Police Cover-up And The Blue Line EXPOSED
Are police officers given special treatment when they are suspects? Does the thin blue line protect their own?
This is but one case where an officer in an alleged incident was treated much differently than similar suspects that are not police officers. Where is the HIGHER STANDARD?
When cops are arrested, data shows they rarely get convicted. Many keep their jobs. About half keep their law enforcement certifications – and their guns.

LAPD Officer Knows Man Has No Gun BUT STILL SHOOTS
LAPD Officer Knows Man Is Not Holding A Gun BUT STILL SHOOT
On July 18, 2022, at around 7:20 p.m., Southwest Division patrol officers received an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” radio call. The reporting party advised Communications Division that the suspect was armed with a black, semi-automatic handgun. Uniformed personnel observed the suspect matching the description listed in the comments of the radio call, walking on the north sidewalk of Martin Luther King Boulevard, just east of Bronson Avenue. Officers made contact with the suspect, who they believed was in possession of a handgun. The suspect refused to respond to officer’s verbal commands. As a uniformed supervisor arrived at scene, he also believed that the suspect was armed with a handgun. As the suspect walked away from the officers, he turned multiple times in their direction and pointed a black metallic object.

Denver Cops Arrest Driver For Refusing Search Of His Car
The Denver Police Department is facing a lawsuit claiming an unnecessary use of force, illegal search of a vehicle and unlawful arrest following a car crash in April 2020.
Keilon Hill, 27, called 911 after a minor crash on Interstate 25 occurred on April 27, 2020. The lawsuit claims Officer Thomas Ludwig glanced into Hill’s car but proceeded to interview the other driver and passenger first.
When Hill asked Ludwig why he was searching his car and that he didn’t have a warrant, Ludwig told him he smelled mary jane in his car. Hill told Ludwig it was “not okay for you to search my car.”
Then Ludwig and Yampolsky grab Hill and pushing him against the hood of his car. The officers handcuffed Hill and the lawsuit says they “used substantial force when effectuating the arrest.”

Dumb Texas Cop Still Does Not Understand Texas ID Laws
Police have to have a traffic offence, or a reasonable suspicion that criminal activity is afoot to detain someone. Texas law states that absent an offence ie law broken, one has no duty to give an ID to an officer just because the officer wants to know your name to run for warrants.

Cop Goes Postal On 3 People At Bowling Alley
Off Duty Police Officer Shoots 3 People At Bowling Alley In Blue Island
An off-duty Chicago police officer was arrested after allegedly shooting three people Tuesday night during an argument at a bowling alley in south suburban Blue Island.
The probationary police officer fired his gun shortly before midnight at the Burr Oak Bowl at 3030 W. 127th St., according to Civilian Office of Police Accountability spokesman Ephraim Eaddy.
The conditions of the three people shot were not available, but there were no reported fatalities. COPA was notified of the shooting at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Eaddy said.
An employee who answered the phone at the bowling alley said the officer had been with a party that was doing karaoke in a lounge area. A general manager was among those wounded, according to the employee, who said the manager was struck in the hand but is now at home "relaxing."
On Wednesday, the bowling alley's liquor license was pulled amid the ongoing investigation into the shooting, the employee said.
Curtis Van Johnson II, another employee who was working at the time, said he was outside but saw the aftermath and confirmed a general manager was shot in the hand. He said another victim was struck in the upper body, while the third was grazed in the head.
The officer was arrested by Blue Island police and relieved of his police powers, the Chicago Police Department said in a statement.
