Season 4, Episode 8, March 2, 2024 • Patrick McCormick, Candidate for Parkersburg City Council
Patrick Says:
A friend of mine asked me, “What happened? Why are you running for city council?” The answer is simple. I have lived here since 1999, and other than houses burning down or being torn down, there has not been any improvement in our district. In fact it is steadily declining. Unfortunately, our district has taken a back seat to other districts and doesn’t get the attention it deserves. That’s because we dont have a voice. When you run a business, it’s a common habit for the people running it to put all their efforts into the areas that are easy to manage and ignore the problem areas. This is exactly what happens in city government, as well. If given the opportunity, I will spend my time and energy collaborating with city officials to focus on fixing our issues in District 4. You are going to hear that these problems cannot be fixed. You are also going to hear that no one else can do better. You will hear excuses from elected leaders that sit on multiple different outside committees about why things aren’t getting better while being cheered on by people outside our district. This is my promise to you. I will actually be the voice of the people who actually live in our district. I will make noise and District 4 will be heard! District 4 Deserves More! Restore District 4!

“Despite Dion having disabilities, it has never stopped him doing the things he wants to do in life and his ambition and passion has been an inspiration for children and adults alike. He is extremely grateful to all those he can inspire around the world.
“Sharing our musical love with the world has helped overcome the daily struggles through the past year and we are so thankful our music has helped others overcome their own struggles.

S. Marshall Wilson is a Husband to a valiant Woman, a Dad to nine, a retired combat veteran US Army Infantry Officer, a former Christian missionary in the Peruvian Amazon, and a teacher. He served as a Delegate from south Berkeley County for two terms (2016-2020) and stood for election as Governor of West Virginia in 2020. Marshall earned an Executive Master of Arts in National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, DC and teaches in the 'Military Operations' Master of Arts program at Liberty University. He also studies, both formally and informally, philosophy, history, and current government operations to increase and improve his capabilities to strengthen the resolve and capabilities of citizens he serves. Marshall's intent is to reform the Executive Branch of West Virginia State Government to function according to its constitutional mandate and, so secure your Natural Rights and "the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity (descendants)." (US Constitution, Preamble) If you agree with the principles to which Marshall has sworn his life, and if you recognize the disaster of the repeated, ongoing, intentional failure of our government to serve those principles, please help us to establish Constitutional governance in West Virginia and so build a bastion of Liberty, Justice, Prosperity, and Security where our children can raise their children in freedom.

S4, E2. January 13, 2024. Joe Earley, Candidate for Congress, West Virginia District 2
Tonight's guest is Mr. Joseph Earley, Candidate for US Congress, West Virginia District 2
Here are a few words from his website about why he's running for Congress: "As a patriot and a veteran, I have stood in the gap as a firewall, defending freedom from tyranny and liberty from oppression. As the elected representative of the 2nd District of West Virginia, I will honor the legacy of past generations of Americans that sacrificed greatly to make America the great nation it is. Our country will stand, once again, as a beacon of Freedom and Individual Liberty. Together, we will stop the increasing levels of government bureaucracies aided by "woke" corporate henchmen. Together, we will support the current generation of soldiers and families that bear the ugly scars of endless wars – many of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice in selfless service to our country to preserve the American Way of Life."
