I needed a device that could aid in cloning, editing, storing, & recovering data. Found a device that could do all that for less than $100! I loved the form factor as I could take it traveling to repair systems on the go with my laptop! With limited storage on my laptop, the device could quickly expand my storage to edit more extensive project videos! The built-in reader also aided in retrieving footage from my SD cards & cameras quickly and efficiently. Overall, the ikuai Docking station has improved my workflow! Highly recommend it to those in Computer repair, Photography, Video editing, & Videography! Pros: - 6Gb/s Transfer Speeds - SD & Micro SD card reader - Small Footprint - Fair Price - Can utilize my spare hard drives that are lying around as external drive ($20-60) - Solid Construction considering the price (very surprised) - No drivers or software required to install! Things to note: - Device requires external power source - Can only use either the SD card port or micro SD card port but not simultaneously Cons: - Device disconnects from system when a drive is added or removed Overall, Very fair price for an awesome docking station! Has really helped me stay motivated & improve my efficiency in making content. The easier it is to do something the more likely you are to do it!
