Cover Tune "The Ladey Wants To Know" (Music & Lyrics Michael Franks)
This is a cover tune I used to sing a loyt in the 70's. Michael Franks is probably the main influence of style in the songs I've written. He is one of my all tiome favorites! I may not be able to carry this tune anymore but I still love singing it! :)

Just A 10 Minute Talk - Continue Your Guitar Journey But Focus!!!
I forgot to mention at the end that one should continue their passion to learn guitar, but unlike me, one should focus and not waste time with the istrument even when it feels pleasurable at the moment! There has to be purpose and focus. It took me over 40 years to realize that....

If Only You Will Stay (Music & Lyrics by Christopher DaCosta)
Hi All - To skip the part of me talking about the backgound of this video and go straight to the song. It starts at 2:10 mark.
I hope Norah Jones could have sang this tune for me back in the day. Still do!
Update On The Guitar My Father Gave Me 23 Years Ago!
This is an RJ guitar made in the Philippines where I was born and raised before coming to the US in 1985 and immediatey joining our Navy! My Dad gave me this guitar (not sure why I said in the video that I bought it). The electrinics on this guitar are not that great as it was coinsidewred an entry level and was cheap compared to the other models but I loved it not only because my Dad gave it to me, but because it felt good to play despirte the lack of character in the pickups. The electronics finaly died on me about a month ago. I had the lutier install Lollar Charklie Chrin & Lollar BS pickups as recommended by Tim Lerch on his channel and after I did the research myself on YT folks who have this. These pickups btw are specific to telecasters. I am quite happy with them! Cheers!

Together As One (music and lyrics - Christopher DaCosta)
Hi friends! This is one I wrote for my best friend and his girlfriend. Their parents kaept separating them but love prevailed and they ended up getting married and currently still together. I gave this to them as a wedding present. This song was meant to be sang by a boy and girl in a duet. After I submitted the copyright of this song, I submitted this to recording companies and they all turned me down. Hope youall like it.
My Every Reason (Music & Lyrics by Chris DaCosta)
This is one of the songs I wrote circa 1978-79, Below are the timepoints:
0:00 - Just saying hello and talking about the wetaher and song and what I'm using.
4:00 - Background and history of how I came about writing the song and some of the chords I use.
6:43 - Lyrics of the song
9:25 - Singing you the song
Hope you like it and let me know what you think! The song was meant to be short since the scene between the girl and the guy she was after was short. The experience basically supplied me the melody and lyrics. I thank that girl and never even met her to let her know I wrote a song about her and what might have been inside her head that night....

How I Am Approaching The ii-V-I Practice
Hi folks just a glimpse of what I am practicing to be able to recognize target chord toimes in a ii-V-I. Here I am using Cmt-F7-BbMaj7. The post may look like I am trying to accomplish too much before learning one aspevt and moving the next; however, I did that on purpose to show you where I am and where I want to go at some point.
Right now I am really just concentrating on the arpeggios. As you cajn see I have not mastered them. Once I do, I will be playing back and forth and naming the intervals then I will incorporate the BbMaj scale to add to the arsenal, so to speak.
Again, I sort of showed you where I want to go with this so please know that I am doing this step by step and right now, I am just at the learning the arpeggios phase.
Cheers all!!!

Samick La Salle JZA-2 with 13 guage strings
Hi-Thought I would up the string guage of the Samick to D'Addario Chrokmes 13-17-26W-35-45-56. Thickest strings I've ever played in my life. I love them as it also teaches me to play lightly!

Practicing The "C" Scale In 3rds & Chatting A Bit
This lesson I got as part of a improv lesson package from Jens Larsen's courses. I am using my $89 Glarry guitar that I've recently turned into a sticker guitar! I love this guitar and glad I never gave it away. It doesn't sound bad and with little tender loving care she stands proud now! Cheers to all of you!
