The last Heroes of Ruin lobby- 3DS online final hour [+ Recap of what happened after closing time]
Nintendo officially discontinued the online play service through Nintendo Network for Wii U and 3DS on April 8th, 2024. For the last hour before the closure, I played Heroes of Ruin on 3DS online. Due to miscommunication on Nintendo's part, I had more time to play than I thought I would. Here, I was playing it with Norbytes, who also stayed all the way until the end. But after the "shutdown" time, the servers didn't go entirely inactive, as I saw for myself.

F-Zero 99 win (the Golden Fox is BROKEN)
Captured in 60fps at 1080p.
The Golden Fox in F-Zero 99 has the lowest top speed, and the least damage resistance... But the power gauge refills much more rapidly than other vehicles, allowing more boosts, at the risk of crashing. Changing up my play style for this, this happened, and I feel like it was a bit too easy. This thing is absolutely broken.
While this was not my first victory in this game, it's the first one I caught with my video capture box.

3DS video capture card test (SSB replay, 1v1 online)
I recently installed a video capture mod in my New 3DS XL, and I've been running tests to get the best results from it. Here, I have a Smash Bros. replay from August 19, 2021, where I played a 1v1 online match, 2 stock, no items, and we were both Mega Man.
I went for 60fps, doubled screen size. The capture looks pretty good, but I think it might have been missing a few frames every now and then. Hopefully that can be remedied.

[FIRST IMPRESSIONS #1] Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (PC) Gameplay/Review
Captured in 1080p at 60fps.
This is my first video of a series where I record my very first time trying a game, and tell you what I think of it in that first moment. I heard Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (1998) was a good one, so I decided to see for myself. This is the PC version, from Steam.
This is my first time doing this sort of thing, so this video is a bit disorganized. I hope you enjoy it in spite of that. And feel free to suggest more games to me for future videos, maybe you know of a good one that I haven't tried.

Playing "Worms: Armageddon" online in 2022 (CD and Steam) with v3.8.1
Worms: Armageddon, originally released by Team 17 in 1999, is still officially supported to this day. The most recent update (at the time that I recorded this) was released in 2020. The latest version of the game is available for purchase on Steam, but if you happen to have an old CD copy (as I do), you can still update the game manually. Below is the link to the update page. Be sure to scroll down to the latest one.

I have captured this footage in 60 frames-per-second, and at a resolution of 1,366x768, on my laptop running Windows 10 Pro. It ran quite well, although my video capture software was having trouble keeping up here and there. And, there is a minor bug on startup.
Word has it that this latest version will even run on Windows 95, as the game was originally intended to. However, I have not been able to test this myself.
Big thanks to those who played with me. It was fun, even though I'm not very good at the game!
