This week South Africa has possibly seen the worst levels of destruction and lawlessness in our history. It has been frightening, disgusting and depressing. Yet the upside is that it has brought out the true spirit of South Africans, the ordinary civilians are the ones who have shone. In recent years so much effort has gone into isolating us and driving wedges between people. This week in the face of riots, burning and looting communities protected, fed and cared for one another. My brother Paul sent me this video, he and his family are at a community clean up at Queen Nandi drive in Springfield.

Caitlin from 2nd Boksburg Scouts in South Africa is working on her Springbok badge. She took on a mammoth challenge for her pioneering project, a structure using 8m poles which incorporated a monkey bridge and Zip Line.

I met up with Dr Tros Bekker and he shared his thoughts and experiences on the topic of Covid 19. Dr Bekker is a GP based in Pretoria who has 35 years experience as a doctor. Unfortunately and inexplicably my camera stopped recording near the end our our chat. I think that the only thing missing is that Dr Bekker shared that more and more doctors are raising red flags over many aspects of what is currently going on.

Dr Tros Bekker a medical practitioner from Pretoria, South Africa shares is views and experiences with regard to what he refers to as the Covid scamdemic. He also mentions the successes which he has had with treatments most notably Ivermectin. He has also published a book "Covid Pandemic (Worldwide crisis conspiracy)"

Cardiologist Dr Susan Vosloo, who was South Africa's first female heart surgeon, introduced the talk by Dr Tros Bekker who has dared to go against the prevalent narrative surrounding the surreal times that we live in.

This time we used 2 colours when fabric painting using an iron on stencil with freezer paper

Acacia decorated her own pillow case using freezer paper ironed onto the fabric then peeled off. She added patterns with glow in the dark fabric paint.

The unique geology of the dunes at Witsand Nature Reserve is striking. Tall white dunes seem almost out of place surrounded by the red sand of the kalahari. You can dune surf or just roll down the slopes.
