The making of "Kevin Locklear Family Portrait" 2022. 48"x36" oil on canvas Painted: Augusta, Georgia
This is a painting for one of my most fervent supporters. Thank you Kevin and Family for the opportunity to make this very special painting for you.
I'm a manipulator of time. The fact that I know how to use a paintbrush is secondary to my ability to manage and focus on a particular painting long enough until it is complete. What makes a painting complete? That is a very good question. Which I answer in my book: "Zero-Man, Maximalism through oil painting". Writings of which can be read on my Subscribe star page here: https://www.subscribestar.com/stevens...
Thank you for viewing my videos. I hope you will subscribe to my channel and hit the like button. It means a lot to me. Portraits are my latest adventure. Going into 2023, it's what I will be focusing on for the most part. To receive a portrait of yourself, a loved one, or a family member, (even deceased) you will find some amazing offers for my service (again) on my sponsor page. linked above. Hope to see you there. Peace.

Figure 8 - 24"x48" oil on canvas 2020 - the making of
Figure 8 is yet another work capturing the balance between industry and nature. Many of my paintings have this similar theme, Woman representing nature and buildings the industry. It is a powerful piece, similar to my fallen series, with an image of a small UFO floating above her head. My signature totem-poles surround the painting within the frame.
This painting is already spoken for, however this size painting fits into the:
* Large Painting Store category (detailed on my subscribe star page, linked below). The Large Painting Store paintings consist of any available works between 7 to 10 square feet.
* Medium Painting Store, are any available, between 3-6 square feet, and the
*Small Painting Store consists of paintings 2 square feet and under.
This information will be detailed further in future posts. This site is still very new, less than 2 weeks old. As the platform is still in the early phases of construction, it makes it even more important to have feedback from my audience. Reach out with any comments and questions.
If you enjoy my paintings, I would like to ask for your support, with a single $1 subscription, you will be contributing to my continued survival and production. Supplies are expensive, and your assistance makes it manageable.
And of course, if you'd like an original painting (or another), look at the 3 top tiers"
* Large Painting Store - any available original - 7 to 10 square feet
* Medium Painting Store - any available original - 3 to 6 square feet
*Small Painting Store - any available original - 2 square feet and under.
Please note that the painting delivery dates, simply provide the basic material and shipping costs. For example, a large painting (9 square feet) will have a $200 material cost, plus boxing/shipping for that size with insurance across the U.S. is around $200. So you can understand why the large paintings ship out after your 4th subscription payment is received. This ensures that I at least cover my material costs. You may cancel or alter your subscription amount at any time. Though I do hope I can keep providing excellent and exciting content, to keep you here.
This system is simply a way for my supporters to (say) thanks for the creative work. I'd like to support the cause, and have some of your originals in my home: https://www.subscribestar.com/stevenski-brewster

The Making of Neva's Portrait 24"x24" oil on canvas
The Making of Neva's Portrait, 24"x24" oil on canvas, Augusta, Georgia 2021.
A pivotal work, completed shortly after relocating to the South. This painting sets a new bar for my progress towards realism/representationalism. Realism, is one of the most difficult disciplines in painting to achieve. I'm pleased with the result of this original. View the video process of its creation.

Fox runs across our yard in Stapleton, GA
Always like to sit on my porch & drink coffee listening to the birds & wind. Today I captured on video this sneaky fox trotting across the yard. Nice.

Armadillo eating up our front yard
These critters are big & don’t even hear or see you. Even when I shined the light on him he just kept on digging & munching. Very interesting. Couple days later there were two that cams out together. 😊

Eat it all BBQ Sign painted by Stevenski Brewster, aka Ski
Painting in the warm Georgia sun. This is one of my pastimes. As much as I enjoy painting in the studio, there is nothing like seeing your work in public. When I drive by I look over to see the bright yellow background surrounding my painting. It is a blessing from God to be allowed to do what ones most passionate about. Thank you all for viewing.
