Mens haircut Double disconnection
This haircut is disconnected on both sides but blended at the back, t the time of making this video I was experimenting on cameras and angles and ways of holding the camera to get the best look to learn from, I wanted to try and give the viewer the same angle as I have.

Mens haircut Grade 2 Trimmed on top Part 1 of the haircut
I have broken down the full-length haircut into 6 sections so anyone can concentrate on the part they need at the time. This is part 1, putting the gown properly on a client. OK so this could be the most uninteresting part of this set but it's still important to get it right and I've seen many barbers not have the right tension on the neck area and send hair right down the client's neck. Not good for business. Sometimes it's the little things that really make the visit special.

Mens haircut Grade 2 Trimmed on top. Part 2 of the haircut
I have broken down the full-length haircut into 6 sections so anyone can concentrate on the part they need at the time. This is part 2 Clipper work. In this video I use the Andis clippers to set the length of the hair on the back and sides, I'm using a great 2 or 6mm clipper blade. I find these blades better than the plastic guards as they have more teeth and pick up more hair, this reduces the section lines you can get from most plastic guards, it also means the clipper work is quicker as your not going over the same part again and again.

Mens haircut Grade 2 Trimmed on top. Part 3 of the haircut
I have broken down the full-length haircut into 6 sections so anyone can concentrate on the part they need at the time. This is part 3 Removing the weight after the setting the grade length. I find that taking out this bulk area and connecting to the top makes the haircut so much easier and quicker too. After taking out the weight you can easily see the shape when cutting the top and you'll know your sections are at the right angle to connect the haircut.

Mens haircut Grade 2 Trimmed on top. Part 5 of 6 of the haircut
I have broken down the full-length haircut into 6 sections so anyone can concentrate on the part they need at the time. This is part 5 scissor work cutting the top. It's important to keep the sections close together here. In this video you will see we take 10-12 sections from the fringe to the crown in the centre of the head and 12-16 on each side. This is so we connect all the sections together, reduce the possibility of section lines and save time on cross-checking the haircut. Having said that I would recommend cross-checking every cut until your confident with this cutting technique.

Full instructional mens haircut
This video was done in 2013, it's the full-length version of a grade 2 back and sides then trimmed on top. This is one of the most basic cuts but still very useful. In this video I use the Andis clippers with detachable blades, these blades pick up the hair better than plastic guards so making the cut quicker and easier to do.
