the IOP workers have worked hard now to try and get me transportation to and from the intensive outpatient program but I'm finding out that one of the drivers was very resistant to doing so.

I've been dealing with the lunch workers treating me disrespectfully by verbally abusing me and emotionally abusing me by withholding meals from me by confusing me about the times that we eat. I went to the management and they don't believe meI went to the management and they don't believe me. there's no one else to turn to because it will get back to me. so I opted to leave after spending 5 months there. they were supposed to give me athey were supposed to give me a "well check", to see if I'm all right and instead of leaving a solicitous message on my voicemail they slammed the phone down hanging up on me after listening to my outgoing message. these people are very unprofessional and disrespectful and offensive in their behavior. they're called unlicensed mental health workers. I think they should be called just workers not mental health workers. they are not good for my mental health!

mental health by its very nature should support the idea of opening up and getting support. it's very difficult under a corrupt system. whether it's the actual structure of the system or whether it's feeling like you can't open up because it's not an honest system... .

pay attention or we will end up like the ones that have passed away or had life threatening illnesses or disorders resulting likely from this. Mental Health is essential. sadly not everybody can afford it. not everybody has quality mental health care. where we feel heard and connected.

Not patients. group therapy is cheaper for them. it's cheaper for them to rent small rooms. it's cheaper for them to crowd 12 people at a time into the rooms and spend only 45 minutes a session. individual therapy is more expensive because more time is spent and time is money. more room is rented and that cost money. one of the biggest complaints I've heard therapist tell me is that they have to pay the rent that's why they have to charge us so much. if it's private therapy anyway. going into depth and spending energy on dealing with someone's problems in depth especially individually cost more money. it's a lot less expensive for the mental health system and the government to pay for 12 people to a group with 45 minutes of session in a small room.

I had an experience and an observation that I went through at my treatment program. point systems. general condescension. a broken mental health system.

today I added a new word to my vocabulary. actually I made it up: "desentientization". when you're not recognized as a sentient being.

Emotional toxicity will make you sick physically! Take care of yourself and have limited or no contact.

complete with your meal everyday at lunch time at intensive outpatient! for less than a penny you get snarked at snapped at yelled at, all for less than a penny. it's more expensive to get therapy to undo that verbal abuse that you get all your life. every time they talk to me like that, I remember why I'm avoiding the lunch area every day.

I've had to adopt some unorthodox behavior at my IOP program. while they encourage me to connect with others, my feelings often tell me to keep my safety. let me share with you a plan that I've devised to make myself feel safe until I'm ready to leave. many of us are not ready to leave toxic situations. during that time we need a plan keep ourselves safe.

for the past 3 months I have had a crush on a woman at this intensive outpatient program that I've been going to for depression. I also need to go there to get certified for my SSDI benefits. the workers there have been gaslighting me and I have been having some trouble finding other providers in my area that accept medi medi (with my Medicaid plan).

Is there no shame? Is there no agape love? No compassion? Empathy burnout? Narcissism? Pretty soon I won't be able to give any more. Everything at once. Air conditioner breaks down. During a heatwave for God's sake. The rent goes up. gaslighted by our landlord. Geesh ... Were counseled by our case managers to network and after our Network attempt by an app we're supposed to trust, I get flamed and driven to delete my account there.

Podcast deleted and can hardly get through to a life human being on the telephone anymore or online. Is this a thing? I'm sure of it now!

The woman was a human being but she was actually a psychopath she would not let him talk and he had to hang up on her and I had to tell him not to call her back.

the only time I believe I might have gotten approved for universal lifeline was when my roommate yelled at them, and he's male. after me arguing with them for days about my qualifications. finally my roommate gets fed up and yells in the background, "you either let her keep that device or send something she can pack it in already so she can return it!" the next day I get an email saying I was approved WTF?!
