Sound of Dissent is just one dude, me - Adam White, writing all the music, playing all the instruments, and poorly attempting to sing. I am just a regular midwestern, middle class, middle-aged guy that works a fulltime job. In my spare time I write and record metal music under the name “Sound of Dissent.”

If you haven’t figured it out by now, much of my music is politically charged. Like many Americans, I am fed up with corruption in our government, and with the blatant bias in our news, our education system, and in our entertainment. I am sick of all the woke garbage being shoved down our throats every time you turn on the fucking TV. Metal has become my outlet to say what I really think…since these days you can’t say shit on social media, at work, or in public without fear of being fired, canceled, censored, or blacklisted.

I have received a lot of hate from other metalheads…which is both sad and ironic. The way I see it, metal is one of the most anti-establishment and rebellious forms of music, and these days there is nothing more fucking rebellious than being a conservative.

Anyway, fuck the libtards that are destroying our country. Hope you enjoy what I’m doing!
