After 10 days of rain, the sun decided to shine. Therefore, I decided to put on my boots and go for a walk along the River Croal and through its mystical woodland. On Saturday 21st January 2023, we were blessed with a very cold but beautiful day. It was perfect to go for a short walk into my local woodland, along the banks of the river irwell, followed by a short stroll along the Radcliffe Arm of the Manchester Bolton and Bury canal.
