🐟Embarking on my maiden trout fishing journey, I wielded a Joe’s Flies spinner with anticipation. The rhythmic spin of the blades sent vibrations through the water, mimicking a minnow’s erratic dance. Casting from the middle of the creek, I covered vast stretches, hoping to entice these elusive fish. Meanwhile, my jerkbait strategy involved patience—casting past the trout’s hiding spots and allowing the lure to linger before reeling it in. As the sun kissed the water, I reveled in the thrill of the chase, eager for that electrifying strike!

In this episode, I was fortunate enough to be able to depart from work early for an appointment, however, after that, I found myself with some free time. 🐟In this episode, I took a drive south to Pepin County, Wisconsin to finish the fishing trip that ended due to a gear malfunction. The day started off a bit slow at first then WHAM! they started biting non-stop for the rest of the day! I really like this measure net and it's so much better for the fish since no trophy shots are required or they do not have to be kept out of the water for extended periods of time to pole measure them either.
