I also use the dowel for minor spinal adjustments which help me maintain alignment in my neck and back.
This quick exercises refreshes the body and is great for those spending long hours hunched over a computer, driving a vehicle, and as a feel good warm up any time!

INTRO to Stretch 4 Life© with Sima Simone. Easy and effective techniques I developed with the use of a dowel to solve neck and back pain, and maintain neck and back alignment.
I came up with Stretch 4 Life© with Sima Simone due to physical challenges that have thrown off the alignment of my spine. Stretch for Life© with Sima Simone is a unique form of "resistance" (strength gaining) stretching, and core development exercising, that focuses on what each body needs at a given time. A gentle, well rounded technique that includes the tremendous benefits of utilizing a dowel. The dowel facilitates articulated and aligned resistance stretching, self massage (with meridian activation), and making minor spinal adjustments. This unique approach to "exercise/stretching" is easy and deeply beneficial. It allows the spinal fluids to flow more readily, helps work stiffness out of muscles and joints in a comfortable (and necessary for some), upright manner, and utilizes leverage for a truly blissful self massage.
