Cuttlefish in Raja Ampat West Papua Province
Cuttlefish or cuttles are marine molluscs of the order Sepiida. They belong to the class Cephalopoda, which also includes squid, octopuses, and nautiluses. Cuttlefish have a unique internal shell, the cuttlebone, which is used for control of buoyancy.
The Raja Ampat Islands are a series of four adjacent island groups located in the western part of the Bird's Head ( Vogelkoop ) Papua Island . Administratively, this group is under the Raja Ampat Regency , West Papua Province . These islands are now a destination for divers who are interested in the beauty of the underwater scenery. Four islands that are members named by the four biggest islands, namely Pulau Waigeo , Misool Island , salawati and Batanta Island .
