Kobalt 2X 24v MAX Lithium Powered Mower
We have been switching our old tools and yard equipment over to Lowe's Kobalt 24v MAX line up. When I needed a new trimmer two years ago, we bought a 24V Max Kobalt lithium powered trimmer. It blew away my expectations. So, as tools wore out we slowly moved over to their 24v MAX line up.
Today, my wonderful woman surprised me and decided to buy us a new mower. Ours was an old Craftsman push mower from the 1990s. Keeping with our replacement plan, she bought the Kobalt 2X 24v MAX mower.
We like the move off of gasoline powered equipment and consolidating our tools into one type/brand. This gives all our tools a universal battery type that can easily be charged for free via our solar panels. Thus, cutting all out out of all basic yard maintenance. This also means we have the ability to use all our new lithium tools in a grid down emergency. Also, cutting the cord with the battery powered tools is a huge bonus too.
I'll keep updated on performance over time and my thoughts. Enjoy the video!

Tents, Tarps, and Backyard Camping 2020
Tarps and tents can mean the difference from being comfortable or miserable when in nature. I take time every year to check my gear for any damages, mildew, waterproof abilities, and to reacquaint myself with each item. Also, it makes for some fun backyard camping with the kids. Remember to use and maintain your gear so you are not fumbling with it when you need it.

2020 Minimalist EDC Bag
This is the bare bones setup I carried while doing local travel throughout 2020. This is not a have everything bag. This is a bag I carry everyday that has extra items I use frequently or may need in a pinch. Hope you enjoy! I will be putting out more content soon here on Rumble so keep and eye out!

Gear Room Setup
We have been working on redoing our mud room for a while. The plan was to turn it into a staging area for our gear and chill out area for the dogs. Having our gear all setup in one area makes it easy to grab in an emergency and helps us stay organized. We finally completed it and I figured you all would like to see our setup. Enjoy!

Everyone Needs to Recharge
It's that time again... time to recharge! Today, I am cycling through a lot of my stored rechargeable devices and 18650 batteries. Power outages are bad and can mean life or death if you need to make an emergency call but you have no way to charge your phone. It's also nice to have stored power for many other uses and devices in an emergency. Enjoy the video!

Local BLM March
We had a BLM march this last fall in my area. I figured you may want to see what a BLM march looks like, in a small conservative dominated city. Their numbers are very limited here as you can see. I caught this footage on my CCTV system and phone. Audio starts when the phone footage starts. Remember stay safe out there!

B.O.V. Propane System
Today I am going to walk you through one of my alternative power sources for my bug out vehicle, propane. I will show you what I have and why I have it, and what I carry in my propane setup. Most have alternative power sources at their house in case of an emergency, so why not have a few options in your B.O.V. too?! Enjoy!

Gun Modding (Buttstock Compartment)
Today, I am modifying my Crossman Storm XT to have a compartment in the buttstock. The Storm XT has a solid hardwood stock, so drilling into it will be a requirement. The plan is to create a small compartment behind the rubber buttstock pad, but not too big... I've got to make sure we don't compromise the integrity of the stock. I figure the extra space can be used for backup ammo, a cleaning kit or some other useful items. So, come with me as I make yet another modification to this pellet rifle
Gun Modding (Picatinny Side Rail)
I am adding a side rail to my break barrel air rifle (Crossman Storm XT). This can be used for a flashlight, with a waterpoof capsule for extra ammo storage, laser pointer, or even a IR flashlight. So sit back, relax and enjoy a jam while I knock this modifications out.
