Diane Sare is joined in conversation by historian Chris Fogarty, whose book "Ireland 1845-1850: The Perfect Genocide" demonstrates how "There was no famine in the ordinary sense of that word [during the "Irish Potato Famine."] It was genocide perpetrated by more than half of Britain's army (67 regiments of its 130 regiments total). They removed, at gunpoint, Ireland's abundant meats, livestock, and food crops to the ports for export; thus starving the people." Today the deliberate starvation of the people of Gaza confronts us all.
