Minka couldn’t care less that she’s sleeping in a bed of dog hair. She’s warm, it’s warm, and that’s all that matters! Dogs are adorable. They’re furry and cuddly and full of so much love, but they’re not perfect. Dogs are capable of doing things out of their character just like humans. The first, and perhaps most important, the result is that overall pet owners tend to laugh more frequently than individuals who are not living with companion animals. And why is that you ask? Because they always find themselves in a funny situation or they make something that makes us laugh! So what is it that dogs are doing which makes us laugh? Faithful, kind, affectionate, loyal - all these complementary characteristics apply to dogs that know their owners, like no other. Scientists have conducted comprehensive research and have determined that when a person looks at a pet dog, the hormone oxytocin is produced in his or her body. Apparently, that's why dogs love to look at their master with their gentle eyes, when they want to get something. By the way, the same hormone in the body is produced when a person looks at a small child. This oxytocin is the sole culprit why dogs “understand” us so profoundly. Many dog owners can confirm that whenever they are sad, worried or anxious their dog starts to behave differently, as if they can read our thoughts and feelings. Pets are capable of opening their hearts across species boundaries and in effect, unusual and beautiful animal friendships and even a sense of familial affection can emerge. This cute puppy feels like she can put a wrap to the day and basically shut down anywhere. Now having said that, when we say anywhere, we actually mean it. This puppy decides that she feels most comfortable laying in some already shedded hair. As funny as it seems it is very true. And guess what, Minka is not going to let some few lost hairs to bring her down.
