Microtech Exocet Sandtrooper - Star Wars Limited Edition Money Clip OTF Pocketknife
The Microtech Exocet is an amazing OTF pocketknife that due to its genius design also doubles down as a money clip or credit card holder. My Exocet has an M390 dagger AKA double edge blade with an apocalyptic Ceracote finish. Plus, its aluminum grip was also anodized to have this light brown Sandtrooper colorway. This limited edition Exocet belongs to Microtech's famous Star Wars lineup and becomes available in small numbers from time to time. Please, check your local laws and regulations before getting one!

Star Wars DIY Paracord Lanyards with Mando Bucket, Undead Clone Trooper Bucket, Armorer Brass Bead
May the 4th be with you! When people say this - they usually think about lightsaber wielding space mages who run around in their bathrobes. But not me! Because I know better! And clearly - the coolest factions in the Star Wars universe are either Mandalorians or Clone Troopers.
So, to celebrate May the 4th I grabbed these 3 Bucket Beads and slapped them onto these amazing pocketknives.
First of all, I paired up this Brass Blacksmith Bead that already had some gorgeous blue patina going with my Kansept Korvid which is a giant pocket cleaver.
Then I corded this White-Brass Mando Bucket onto my Sig Sauer EX5 which is a badass tactical pocketknife by Hogue Knives.
And last but not least, I picked up this already Star Wars themed Sand Trooper edition Microtech Exocet and made it complete with this Undead Clone Bucket. And if you’ve already seen the latest season of the Asoka series you must know how creepy these guys can go…
But anyway - which bead do you like the most? Let me know in the comments! Or if you wanna see even more fancy beads, check out my previous videos.

Sig Sauer EX5 by Hogue Knives Unboxing - Automatic Tactical Folder with CPM 154 Blade Steel
The Sig EX5 by Hogue Knives is one of my favorite tactical pocketknives. It comes with a snappy, reliable action and it can also turn into a fixed blade thanks to this safety switch.
Precisely milled aluminum makes the EX5 strong, light - and in combination with these G10 inlays, they provide a rock-solid grip. The cherry on top, Hogue joined these scales so seamlessly that they look like one integral piece.
The knife comes in this Sig Sauer box, alongside this nylon carry pouch, left side clip, Hogue sticker, a flyer and some silica.
After the unboxing I had to realize that the pictures did not do justice to this knife and the EX5 in real life looks extremely cool. This is something you can only understand after holding it in your hand.
Our blade is made of CPM 154 - a premium steel popular with auto folders and the factory edge on this thing is really-really nice. Among the best ones I’ve ever seen. I also enjoy the phenomenal spear point grind with this very unique harpoon swedge.

Sig Sauer EX5 by Hogue Knives - Automatic Tactical Folder with CPM 154 Blade Steel & Aluminum Grip
On top of Hogue Knives fine craftsmanship, these EX5 knives also get their super durable Ceracoate finish in the same factory where Sig Sauer paints their guns. Due to this reason the color scheme of this EX-05 pocketknife by Hogue Knives perfectly matches the looks of some specific Sig Sauer firearms.
In my video I give an in-depth review about the pros and cons of this Sig EX5 tactical pocketknife including my experiences using it.

Kansept Korvid XL Unboxing - Pocket Cleaver with 154CM Blade Steel and Natural Micarta Scales
The Kansept Korvid XL has pretty much grown on me since I got it. Flicking it open with this flipper tab, thumb studs, or giant fuller just never gets old.
The long list of opening methods might be part of the reason why this pocket cleaver looks funny, weird, and unexpected, all the same time. So, whenever I flick this knife open it’s a real attraction and I love to see people go Wow instead of woah when they realize what just happened.
Kansept makes these puppies in 3 different sizes and a whole bunch of different colors. The one that you see in my hand is the extra-large Korvid but even though it looks like a giant it is still very practical. I really enjoy the contrast of these lighter tone Micarta scales and the completely blacked out hardware.
The Korvid arrives in this pretty cool Kansept box alongside an encyclopedia, a cleaning cloth, and a nylon bag. And it has smooth, snappy action right from day one.
My Korvid comes with a 154CM blade steel, which is not a fancy powder steel, but does what it has to do. And in my testing, it surpassed my D2 pocketknives in every single way and it also takes a very nice, keen edge. So, I highly recommend trying it - especially on a badass cleaver, like this one!

Kansept Korvid XL Pocket Cleaver with 154 CM Blade Steel and Natural Micarta Handle Scales
The Kansept Korvid XL is an amazing pocket cleaver. The version that I showcase in my review comes with Titanium Carbonitride (TiCN) coated 154CM blade steel and Natural Canvas Micarta handle scales.
By being the largest member of the Korvid family, this XL version dwarfs the rest of the lineup. However, despite the extra-large size this cleaver is still a very practical EDC choice. Especially, if we keep food prep in mind.
In my video I give my in-depth review of my own Kansept Korvid XL that I carried and used almost every day in the last couple of weeks and I highlight its pros and cons.

This Mini Sheepdog also has an opening hole, a deep carry pocket clip, and full blacked out hardware. A great idea, but very poor quality from Kizer Knives.

Lionsteel Leone Karambit with MagnaCut Steel and Emerson Wave Opener #magnacut #lionsteel
I decided to have a second take on this Lionsteel Leone which is a full-size tactical karambit with a MagnaCut blade that you can open at least a hundred different ways, a gorgeously anodized aluminum body, and an integral frame lock.
The huge pro of this construction is that the karambit ring is milled out of the very same piece of metal as the rest of the handle. This makes the Lionsteel Leone a comfy and hand-filling knife with no hotspots. Plus this screw-less integral body is very elegant and satisfying to look at.
This knife is a typical example of poor execution of a great idea, as my knife has a dangerously weak detent and a completely stripped pivot screw. The Leone comes in this black Lionsteel box alongside a mini pivot tool and a pretty much useless warranty card. As Lionsteel doesn’t even respond to the emails I send them.
I’m disappointed only because the Leone is an exciting design with premium materials but all this got ruined by trash build quality. All the problems could have been prevented if Lionsteel had opened the knife at least once after its assembly. And they could have also double-checked this pivot screw, too.

Lionsteel Leone Karambit Pineapple Pizza Meal Prep #lionsteel #emersonwave #karambit
Happy April Fools to everyone! I was definitely a fool to get this Lionsteel Karambit. As it came with a stripped pivot screw and a horrible detent. Plus I could not even send it back, because they ignored all my emails.
I won’t use this blade for anything serious. But still - good thing that I have it so I can finally prep a truly Italian meal with this authentic Italian Knife. Let’s grab this frozen pineapple pizza, cut it open, and throw it into the microwave. Then after it’s done, slice it up, plate it, pour on a bucket of ketchup - just in case - And finally, serve it to the proper guest.
But long story short. This Lionsteel Karambit had a lot of potential - as it was designed by Ernest Emerson. It comes with a MagnaCut blade that you can open at least a hundred different ways. It has a gorgeously anodized integral aluminum body. And it’s a truly sweet package on paper - However, the build quality turns all of this into a comedy.

Top5 Tactical Fixed Blades - Winkler Belt Knife, TKell NightHawk, CRKT Clever Girl, Kwaiback, Tac-P
In the Top 5 Tactical Fixed Blades for 2024 comparison video I review my favorite knives that I carry every day.
First of all, I introduce the Winkler Belt Knife with Tribal Maple handle scales, 80CRV2 blade steel, and an amazing leather sheath. Then I move on to talk about the Tkell Knives NightHawk, which is a very exciting semi-custom knife that features an American Tanto blade grind. On the third spot, I pull up my CRKT Clever Girl - a great option for camping.
The Hoback Kwaiback has similar traits to the previous two knives and its Upswept Japanese Tanto grind gives it a perfect balance. Finally, the Microtech Tac-P is a very unique and fun everyday carry choice that just had to be on my Tactical Fixed Blades Toplist this year.
Besides these five amazing knives, I also showcase two other designs as honorable mentions. The first one is the Fox Diagnostic - designed by Bastien Bastinelli, and the second one is the Spyderco Subway Bowie designed by Fred Perrin.

Hoback Kwaiback with Paracord Lanyard and Snake Knots #hobackknives #paracordtutorials #fixedblade
In this DIY mini-series, I’m showcasing my favorite two paracord colors - goldenrod and acid purple. Both of them come with a diamond pattern which just makes them even cooler. These 550 Type 3 cords were made in the USA and brought to Europe by Knives and Tools dot com.
So I quickly grabbed five of my naked knives and dressed them up in these fancy new colors. I got two Spydercos, Two Cold Steel ones, and also this pretty amazing Hoback Kwaiback. This 5-inch-long fixed blade comes with S35VN steel, Upswept Tanto grind, and gorgeous carbon fiber scales. For this knife, I chose the goldenrod color, because the yellow cord and the deep grey grip have amazing synergy in my opinion.
Since this is a lightweight self-defense knife that I carry inside my waistband - I wanted to give it a sleek and minimalistic lanyard - so I went with 3 snake knots and no beads. But this helix pattern makes my lanyard look extra despite being very simple. If you wanna see all my lanyards come - check part 2 and part 3.

Cold Steel AD-15 and Urban Pal with Paracord Lanyard & Bronze Bead #coldsteelknives #demko
Welcome to the second episode of my DIY mini-series, where I’m showcasing how I dressed up 5 of my EDC blades using diamond textured Goldenrod and Acid Purple paracord from Knives and Tools dot com.
In this part, I’m showcasing some pretty cool Cold Steel knives starting with Demko’s AD 15 - which is kind of a biggie. To match this giant blade, I decided to go with a similarly oversized lanyard that has three snake knots, two antique bronze beads, and a beautiful paracord diamond knot - finished with my 45-degree melting technique. Ended up one of my favorite lanyards of all time.
But if you think you’ve seen it all don’t go anywhere, because I went all in with this next one. The Urban Pal - in contrary to the Demko, has a subcompact size. So I needed to beef it up just a little, so I could use it with my large hands. So I gave it 3 snake knots and a diamond knot, but in between them I also placed a loop - which is very useful for retaining the sheat. These brass beads also play an important role, as they allow easy access for my finger.
If you’d like to see my other lanyards - come and check out Part One and Part Three.

Spyderco Native 5 & Endura 4 with Paracord Lanyard #spyderco #paracord #lanyard
In the final episode of my DIY mini-series, I’m showcasing how I dressed up two of my favorite Spyderco knives - the Native 5 and the Endura 4, using Goldenrod and Acid Purple paracord. I’m super happy I found these cords on Knives and Tools because it is a real challenge to find good-quality rope these days. This diamond pattern makes them look even cooler! - A perfect fit for my knives!
I’ll start with the Native 5 and some purple cord. Since Maxamet Spydercos arrive with this grey handle and stonewashed metal parts I got myself a nice combination. I also threw in an antique bronze bead, and I secured it with a couple of snake knots. Then sealed the cord at a 45-degree angle - using my favorite technique.
Then I continued with my Endura 4 - that just like its smaller brother - also got an antique brass ring. But this time I went with the goldenrod paracord, as it was a better match with these deep blue FRN scales. This combo reminds me of a sandy beach, so I dig this lanyard a lot.
If you wanna see my other 3 knives, come check out parts one and two.

Leatherman Signal Multitool with Survival Lanyard
I consider these paracord techniques must-have knowledge ever since the Leatherman Signal became my favorite pocket-sized survival kit for hikes and trips. If I wander off the trail I always carry outdoor emergency gear. And this multitool takes care of everything I throw at it. I just have to make sure not to lose it. So I came up with this dayglow survival lanyard. I used Canary Yellow Paracord and a pretty cool Titanium Bear bead.
On top of being stylish and decorative, this bulky lanyard is also very functional. It helps me grab the Signal from its sheath and also improves my grip. And even if I manage to drop my Leatherman, this vivid yellow helps me spot it more easily. Otherwise, I would be in a big trouble.
If you wanna know how to make this lanyard step-by-step, then come and watch my tutorial where I will also show you how I added this fancy little ghost to my Civivi Baby Banter.

TOPS T4 Mini Tracker Survival Knife with RMT Micarta Scales Overview and Unboxing #topsknives
The TOPS Mini Tracker is a fun and interesting little knife. It is a scaled-down version of the original Tom Brown survival knife - the T1 Tacker. TOPS just made it - slightly - more carryable, so my friends won’t have to bail me out every time I take this for a ride.
Just like many other TOPS knives, the T4 Mini has Black Linen Micarta handles. However, my Tracker comes with a twist - as it has Rocky Mountain sculpting. This RMT finish enhances this 3-finger grip, which is a much-needed tweak, on this blade-heavy knife.
1095 steel makes this Mini Tracker also mighty - so the edge will not chip, or roll easily. Due to its high carbon content, this steel’s only weakness is corrosion, but TOPS pretty much countered this issue with this Epoxy-based traction coating, that provides full protection from the elements.
Another huge perk of this knife is its high-quality Kydex sheath that also comes with a very practical belt hook. So unlike many other brands, this TOPS fixed blade is ready to carry right out of the box. The T4 Mini arrives in this well-designed plastic bag - alongside its university degree - and a feminist safety whistle, that annoys my dog like nothing else.

Real Steel Metamorph Unboxing, Overview, and Review #realsteelknives #balbachdamast
I chose The Real Steel Metamorph as my very first front flipper. When I first got this knife opening was a bit tricky, but I quickly got the hang of it. After spending some time with this absolute beauty of a knife - I learned to appreciate this opener, as it allows the blade to recess in between these gorgeous burgundy micarta scales fully, which makes this Ostap Hel design very sleek and elegant.
The Metamorph arrives in this pretty cool Artisan Cutlery packaging that also includes a nylon belt sheath and a couple of other nice accessories.
Ball-bearing pivots give the Metamorph a buttery smooth action and it always makes my day when this 3-and-a-half-inch-long Balbach Damast blade rockets open. This Damascus is pretty unique, as it was made out of the barrel steel of the Leopard One tank - which makes our blade lean heavily into tool steel territory, so it is not only gorgeous but also performs well.

How to Paracord a Neck Knife or a Skeletonized Outdoors EDC Blade Fast and Easy DIY Guide
We can use Paracord in many ways! However, one of my favorite applications is creating DIY Paracord grips for our Neck Knives and EDC cutting tools. This way we can give our gear a nice, fashionable look, and at the same time we can also highly increase their functionality. Without paracord, skeletonized neck knives can easily become very slippery and hotspotty. However, adding some paracord might help us mitigate this problem by greatly increasing our tools' comfort and functionality.
In this specific video, I am using a Type III 550 Paracord, and this particular color pattern is called Santa Claus. I love this cord and often use it in other DIY projects, including lanyards and dog collars.
