Astronauts Lose Shield in Space by Accident (GoPro 8K
Hello Waa Sop community, I'm Jona and now I bring you a very, very, very incredible video, it's a fragment of the spacewalk (EVA #38) carried out in 2017 by NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and NASA astronaut , Shane Kimbrough outside the International Space Station. The interesting thing about this walk is that Peggy Whitson accidentally dropped a debris shield that became space junk, all of which was documented by the GoPro action camera Whitson was carrying. Now, the interesting thing about this video is that I scaled this snippet to 8K resolution using Artificial Intelligence neural networks 🤯 While the result isn't perfect, there is a considerable improvement over the highly compressed 1080p original version that can be downloaded from the NASA archives. I hope this video blows your mind as much as it did me 😍 🌍 PS: If anyone recognizes any of the territories in the video please leave a comment below 👇🏼 Video made by @elfamosisimoJON If you want to use this material, contact me on Twitter. How Will We Extract Water on the Moon? We Asked a NASA Technologist
We know the Moon contains water, but, could future astronauts access and make use of it? That’s the goal. At NASA, we’re actively trying to answer that question. Once it lands at the lunar south pole, our PRIME-1 — Polar Resources Ice Mining Experiment-1 – will robotically sample and analyze ice from beneath the lunar surface, contributing to our search for water on the Moon: https://go.nasa.gov/2QygCmF

Sounding Rocket Launch in Australia (2022)
The Suborbital Imaging Spectrograph for Transition region Irradiance from Nearby Exoplanet host stars, or SISTINE, mission launched aboard a NASA sounding rocket from the Arnhem Space Center in Northern Australia on July 6, 2022, at 9:47 a.m. EDT (11:17 p.m. ACST). The mission helped astronomers understand how starlight influences a planet’s atmosphere, possibly making or breaking its ability to support life as we know it.
