Join me on a Florida virtual beach walk as we walk the sands of Fort Myers Beach. This is during red tide, so there is a bit more carnage than usual, but despite the coughing, I had a great time. Now the other couple I mentioned in the video, I asked them where they parked and they said on the side of the road and there wasn’t any no parking signs or anything…. I saw where they parked and it was literally in front of a no parking sign, next to fencing keeping people away from construction on a condo building. It just really bothers me that people are trying to rebuild their lives and others are parking willy, nilly, not being respectful of others. To each their own I suppose, but it really bothered me. This was a lot of work but so much fun! After all the photographs, video, posting and packing were completed, I am able to hand over $5800 to the Fort Myers Beach Elementary School PTO! Working with PayPal was not a good experience, so I'll have to see if i can find an easy way to manage payments next time. Additionally, I accidentally switched two boxes, and I also asked someone who had already paid for money, but I learned a bit and the next one should go a little smoother (for me anyway!). I found seahorses on Sanibel Island! My first trip back to the island after it being closed due to Hurricane Ian and Sanibel allowed me to find several seahorses while beachcombing.
