SLIPKNOT: THE ONE THAT KILLS THE LEAST BASS COVER
That song is a moment of melancholy, where you're looking at all the problems in your life, and you're trying to put everything in perspective, and you realize that the decisions you make can come back to haunt you, because of something like, in our case, losing Paul. The choices that you make are really starting to affect everything around you, and it comes down to the point where the one that kills the least still kills us all. Where every action has an equal and opposite reaction, so it's really about dealing with the negative side effects of your choices in the grief process.

SLIPKNOT: LECH BASS COVER
This song is about the feelings of guilt that frontman Corey Taylor felt as part of the grieving process following the death of bassist and founder member Paul Gray. He explained to Kerrang!: "Lech is one of the other tunes talking about the guilt in your guts, and just taking a look at yourself, and basically beating yourself up for having these very human feelings."
"In the grief process you can get angry at himself, and you can also get angry at the person that you lost – this person that you love so much – and when you lose them you get really angry, whether it's about their choices on the fact that you couldn't help them, and is a certain amount of survivor's guilt that comes with that," he continued. "Why is he gone and not me? It's an amalgam of just outrageous, just insane grief that really drives you into a bunch of different crazy positions, and Lech is about that."
"And 'Lech' refers to the word 'lecherous,'" he added. "It lets you feel like you're a bad person, and you have to fight your way through that, and it's a long process, but once you cut them out the other side of it you feel a lot better for it."

SLIPKNOT: NOMADIC BASS COVER
Nomadic is the other side of that – that's when the anger starts up. And it's almost like if "Goodbye" is slowly getting to your feet, Nomadic is the sprint that happens once you do get to your feet. And there's almost a misogynistic kind of vibe to it, where it's like men shouldn’t cry, or are afraid to show their true feelings, and this is the gnarly, aggressive repercussions of trying to hold it in, and standing out and trying to put on a sense of bravado when inside you're really just sinking fast in the quicksand.

SLIPKNOT: GOODBYE BASS COVER
Goodbye" was initially going to be the introductory song for .5 The Gray Chapter but ended up becoming a full track.[2] In an interview with Rolling Stone, Corey Taylor, the lead singer of Slipknot, explained that "Goodbye" was a song he had written about the death of Paul Gray, one of Slipknot's members. On the other hand, Slipknot's percussionist Shawn Crahan originally believed that "Goodbye" was about Taylor leaving the band.[3] Taylor extended his explanation of the song to multiple magazines by saying that "Goodbye" was about the loss of words the band experienced after Gray's death[4] and coming back together after "one of the darkest days of this band’s career".[5]

SLIPKNOT: SIC BASS COVER
(Sic)" evolved from the Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. song "Slipknot". This is evident with some riffs and the overall layout of the song being the same or similar. The word (sic) means "said in context". It's a literary term an author uses after saying something he knows is wrong but includes it anyways.
