You do realize it's 365 days a year. Well Here's a very nice recipe to cook for your Valentine any day of the year. I discovered it by googling Valentines days meals or something like that. Dijon mustard DIRECTIONS STEP 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in large oven-safe skillet on medium-high. Add mushrooms and pinch of salt and cook, tossing occasionally, 5 minutes. Add shallot and cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes; transfer to a plate. Add apples and butter to the skillet and cook, tossing occasionally until beginning to turn golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes; transfer to a second plate and wipe skillet clean. STEP 2 Return skillet to medium. Rub chicken with remaining Tbsp oil, season with 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper, and cook, bone side up first, until browned on all sides, 10 to 12 minutes; drain excess fat. Turn chicken skin side up, add wine and cook 1 minute, then add broth and thyme. Return apples to the skillet, transfer skillet to oven, and bake until chicken is cooked through (165°F), 7 to 8 minutes. STEP 3 Transfer chicken and apples to plate, discard thyme, and return skillet to medium heat. Whisk in cream and mustard, then fold in mushroom mixture and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes. Serve with chicken and apples and additional thyme if desired. I bought a box of frog legs from Moody's Quality Meats in Corpus Christi Texas. I decided to fry enough for me and my wife. I used the below recipe. hope you enjoy the video. Ingredients 16 frog legs skinned and clean 1 cup canola or peanut oil 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal 3 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp black pepper dash of white pepper (optional) season all to taste; flour for dusting Directions Step 1 Rinse frog legs well and pat dry. Sprinkle Season-All on the frog legs to taste. In a separate glass bowl mix the egg and milk. Step 2 In another bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, black and white pepper. Step 3 Take the seasoned frog legs and lightly coat with plain flour; helps the egg stick to the leg. Coat with egg mixture then dredge in the seasoned flour mixture until the leg is fully coated. Fry until golden brown in the oil that has been heated in a skillet. Drain on paper towel and serve with onion hush puppies.

Recipe: Texas Ranch Chicken Casserole This creamy casserole is packed with flavor and is sure to be a hit with your family! Ingredients 1 onion (diced) 1 green bell pepper (diced) 1 red bell pepper (diced) 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil 1 teaspoon minced garlic 3 cups cooked chicken breast (cubed) 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of celery soup 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of chicken soup 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chiles (undrained) 1 Tablespoon chili powder 12 corn tortillas (cut into 1-inch strips and divided) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided) Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat, saute onion, green pepper and red pepper in oil until tender. Add garlic and saute an additional minute. Stir in chicken, soups, tomatoes and chili powder. Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with half of the tortilla strips. Top with half of the chicken mixture and 1 cup of cheese. Repeat layers. This year I followed the directions of Smoky Ribs Youtube video on frying a turkey. The cajun injection sauce is out of this world. It was the best Deep Fried Turkey I have even tasted. I must say this is one of my favorites for a quick hearty meal. Chicken and Dumplings Sapo Style : Ingredients 1 carton (32 oz) Any brand reduced-sodium chicken broth (4 cups) 3 cups shredded cooked chicken (about 1 1/2 lb) 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands! Southern Homestyle refrigerated Buttermilk biscuits (8 biscuits) or any brand you like. 2 medium carrots, chopped (1 cup) 3 celery stalks, chopped INSTRUCTIONS: 1 In a 4 quart pot, heat broth, chicken, soup and poultry seasoning to boiling over medium-high heat; reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Increase heat to medium-high; return to a low boil. 2 On lightly floured surface, roll or pat each biscuit to 1/8-inch thickness; cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips. 3 Drop strips, one at a time, into boiling chicken mixture. Add carrots and celery. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent dumplings from sticking. 4 Enjoy your meal... Super Delicious!!! I tested the brand new rub Pa' Todo Seasoning from Rio Grande Seasoning on some Organic Chicken Breasts. Grilled them on the PK Grill using the Grill Grates.
