I was standing near the Killdeer's nest so she faked a broken wing to lure me away. They usually lay 3 eggs in a depression in the ground, the nest is very hard to see even if you're standing next to it.

They were fine until another truck went by and spooked them.

This is the entire 2-man coaster ride at Rush Mountain amusement park near Mt. Rushmore. The whole area around the National Monument is full of fun things to do: Bear Country, Zip Lines, Mountain Slides, Air Museum at the AFB, Tour of a Missile Silo and a couple of Dinosaur Museums and much more. A lot of the fun stuff was actually free (donations accepted).
