Adventurer: Sword and Sorcery - A Peek at the UI, Skills, and More Combat!
A simple UI is in! I hope you like it. I plan on adjusting it and arting it up as I get further along. The progress bar is how close you are to leveling it up to the next skill level. I have to work on the formula a bit but when that's in it'll be even better!
The road ahead is going to be very long, but this is a journey I'm intending to fully see out. I hope you travel with me and enjoy it. If so please support me by subscribing to the channel, sharing this around with your friends and like minded folk. Help me grow! The more our merry band grows the more momentum we'll have when the time comes to bring a great adventure for all to enjoy!!

A big reveal into the workings of skills, abilities, and combat!
How do you feel about skill based combat? Does it get you excited to see a return to an RPG format?
A lot of math went into this and my brain is FRIED. I still have a lot of balancing to do and eventually getting enemies to fight back but please give it a look I am really proud of how this is turning out and I hope you're getting excited. Here is a peek at the combat system! I've gotten impacts in, deaths in, some sweet SFX in from a big library I bought. Its gonna be a big endeavor but the basics are there!
Next up? Balance and actual combat math. The stuff you can't really show off too easily but I'll figure it out!

It has been some time! My apologies I was knee deep in the code trying to fix things and didn't have much to show. Then things got complicated and I did an impromptu jam to get a game out for a muse that motivated me.
I am back though! And you can see some progress I've made.
As always thanks for watching. We'll be getting back to it in the next few days.

Project Adventurer Update: Building An Inventory and Combat
Hello all! A quick update on my First Person Action RPG that I've coined under the working title of Project Adventurer.
Showing off the start of my inventory system. Which is a brief intermission back into combat. I really wanted to get it so you equip a weapon instead of just pick one up off the ground and go to town with it so I took the past few weeks to start working one out! Still some bugs and it has a long way to go but we're getting there!
My big inspirations for inventory are Morrowind's UI which still is one of the best modifiable UIs. I'd love to be able to pin, stretch, and sort like they did in that game so my end goal is something similar but with more quality of life improvements.
Again as always. If you like what I am doing and want to support the best you can do right now is subscribe and share with like minded folk. Help me grow! Help me get a momentum into bringing back great first person adventure RPGs of old!

Action RPG Combat Update!
I'm still at it, been working on combat and wanted to be a little further along, but its been a bit since I updated everyone so I figured I would show where I am.
This video is a bit more raw in the moment than planned out so hopefully that's okay! I just wanted to share with everyone how it goes.
As always if you like it or know anyone else who likes Action RPGs like the elder scrolls series, or other such games let them know! I could use all the word of mouth I can get. As a solo dev my marketing is my fans!
Action RPG Game Development - The Interaction System
In this video I talk about interactable worlds. The means you use to open doors, pick up items, talk to NPCs, and just interact with the world in general.
As always feel free to comment and share this video around! Word of mouth is my best friend right now.
This will probably be my last video of this formatting for a while as it takes quite a bit of time to edit and put together a video (almost 30 hours in the case of this one) And that's time I could be working on development instead. I'll probably space these out a bit more and go for a more raw format with videos in between.
I hope to have a melee combat system to show off a few variants of by end of next month. There are a lot of ways this has been attempted before but getting a good feel to combat is crucial. I don't want to stress the action over the RPG but I want to mitigate the mistakes past games have made.
