This was a video of a portrait carving I made for a friend whom i carve with. I had used a piece of cedar root he had provided me... He sent me a few pictures of her, and i had to do a number of studies before attempting this carving. The sketch studies will be in this video. I had made this video through Flipgram which was a subsidiary to Instagram. I used the music that was legally provided for via the service of flipgram, only to have it taken down as it """"violated music copyrights''''''?? This was their service providing the music, lol. Go Figure!!!?? Anywhoo, i just wanted to show case my staged carving video as it was what i could do at the time given my limitation regarding video production. Enjoy... Again this was for his girlfriend during the Holidays of 2015. The carving was done in about 8 hours total work time over 2 weeks. Enjoy the video.
