The Struggle is Real - MidnightBSD 3.1.4 Overview
It's been a while since I last looked at MidnightBSD - and in this video we'll see if it's as good as it was then.
* There was an issue with this MidnightBSD release that only came to light after I had completed the recording....and the developer has said he will take a look at the 64-bit release as this is the only version affected and fix it as soon as is possible.

Terminal averse? A console coward?
Well, GhostBSD will let you sample FreeBSD without the need to touch anything that looks like a terminal prompt :-)

Getting Started on FreeBSD (remastered) | From Start to Finish
FreeBSD is often seen as a server OS only, and whilst it is true it is mainly found fulfilling this role, it can also make for a fantastic Desktop OS. This video will show you from downloading to installing all the through to a fully functioning desktop and all the things associated with that.
This video is a compilation of the 4 'Getting started' videos you can find on my channel from 2022. The information is still relevant in 2024.

RoboBSD v.01 - OOTB Raspberry Pi FreeBSD
There is a lack of ready-out-of-the-box FreeBSD based OS's for the Arm64/Raspberry Pi.... so I thought I would have a try.
XFCE, Automounting, Cups, Word processor..... let me know if it should be further developed.... or not. :-)
I'm not a developer so I'm relying on your help if it does....

A pinch of Viewdata - back to the Future in 2023?
For those old enough, BBS surfing was the way we used to get online before the World-Wide-Web was a thing... and here in the UK, the type of BBS you would normally find was a Viewdata system....well, it was until the mid-1980;s when ANSI based BBS took over in popularity.... you can have a glimpse of this with a Viewdata Client that runs well under Wine on FreeBSD...
